Happy Monday everyone! It's the first day of spring, isn't that so exciting 😊

I'm not quite sure what to write but I just wanted to put something out there for anyone who still keeps tabs on my blog or who might stop by later. I joined SSOblr in late 2014, and this community meant a lot to me for a long time. I'll always treasure the memories and the amazing people I've meat through it. It has been such a complete and utter joy to have, adventuring through Jorvik with pixel ponies and friends: climbing adventures, scenic trips, late night rides, exciting events, and a platform to shitpost and share our experience with this delightful game. The friends I've met across countries and timezones have enriched my life in so many ways. This isn't necessarily a goodbye post, but a recognition that my current trend of phasing in and out of this community and game will continue longterm. Things have been moving very quickly for me in life the last few months and I'm running to meet my future, what ever that will be.

If this is the last time I post for a while, I leave you guys with nothing but my love and well wishes for everever you go in life ❤️

!!!!!! the sudden urge to make wall decals for my classroom using sso farm animals !!!!!

Okay, so it's still an idea because I have this empty space above my board, but I think I need to print them on posters because it's like 25 in and I really want to fill the space, normal printer paper isn't going to work.

I'm kind of worried about them pixel-ing on me when they're blown-up for the size. It might be a bit $$$ for a poster printing, so I want to be sure before I order them. Does anyone have any graphics knowledge to help or have suggestions?

I thought it would be a fun trend to recreate old SSO screenshots from years ago! Made reasonable updates to items such as breed model, gear, and clothing to show progress. What a difference!

Star stable genuinely feels like its becoming what it was meant to be?

With the leading and following command, all the beautiful horses and animations, the new lunging/training stuff coming out, the realistic tack and locations we’re getting?!

I’ll be the first one to be nostalgic and homesick for the vibes of the old game, but id also be lying if i didn’t say this version was objectively better-

And i think a lot of critics are blinded by nostalgia? Like? 14 year old me and players in 2015 would go INSAAAANE for the horse breeds, races, tack, and interactions we get with our horses now

just started star stable online and so far i love how the tutorial goes here's how to ride! here's how to take care of your horse! here's a racetrack! here's how to jump! hey, let's talk to the stable owner!

and then the stable owner says "hey i need you to disable the gps devices of the surveyors here hired by the evil corporate man" and this intense music with drums and spooky lady vocals starts playing before you even leave

SSOblr PRIDE RIDE - PT. 2

As promised, I wanted to give everyone a chance to celebrate Pride in SSOblr fashion!

When: Friday, June 30th, 4:45 PM EST

Where: NA server Freezing Crater, meeting at Moorland Stables.

Details: Join SSOblr as we celebrate Pride month in style! Bring your favorite horse, dress up, and hang out. We’ll ride the NPC Pride Parade that begins at the top of the hour, down to the beach party. We’ll hang there for a bit. From there, we can plan a longer group trail ride, and for those who linger later the Disco is where we’ll end up!
