Hello guys!

So I am still lagging behind since I have a baby and he recently had a setback with his weight gain and health. But hopefully I should be having enough to fill up a booth around summertime! I’ll apply at the local artisan market located at  3175 US 1 S, St. Augustine, FL 32086. Will post more pictures soon of shawl sets available for purchase.

BOOTH APPLICATION 2022!

Hey guys! 

I know I said I was going to have some consignment ready and available in 2021, but it’s already 2022 and I ended up with more yarn. However I have a solution...I’m applying for a booth once I get through my big bulky yarns and I should be finishing up all my other shawls by that time. The booth application will take a while, but hopefully a spot will be available at the local artisan market. If not, then I may have a Saturday table to sell my wares.

I’ll keep an update going at the end of my big knits to let you know where I have stopped.

WELCOME TO THE TEAM CALVIN!

It's been a while and I am still working on my Hoodie Shawls, but I was recently in hospital for a few days this past November because another team member was coming soon! Everyone, please welcome Calvin Thomas Forensky to the Hobby Therapy Knitwear team! He was born on November 13 and weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces. Measuring at a whopping 20.5 inches. He's now a month old and loves getting cozy and warm in all the knits that I have made for him so far. Have a wonderful New Year and Happy Holida

Everyone please welcome our newest team member, Calvin Thomas Forensky. He’s too young to help out now, but eventually we will be able to train him. Born 11/13/2021, weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces, measured 20.5 inches at birth!

Basic Beanie - Heather Forensky's Ko-fi Shop

I do have some beanies already made. I forgot to add them onto the Ko-Fi shop. They’re a basic slip stitch and sometimes they’ll shrink in the wash because these were all made from yarn found in thrift shops, but I tried to stretch them as best as I can. If you have a clothes steamer and you have to wash your beanie, definitely give it a stretch after washing.

Heather here with a weird and wacky question. Leave your replies down below.

I have 12 balls of yarn, yes you heard me. 12 balls of yarn. Each ball is 628 yards per ball. Should I combine two at a time to get Hoodie shawls and Triangle Shawls done or make the 17 Triangle shawls and just get it over with? Let me know in the replies and I will let you know how a Size 5 ball of yarn looks as a Hoodie Shawl.

CONSIGNMENT POSTPONED 2022

I have OVER 140 balls of yarn to finish for a booth. I only have under 100 completed projects but I would need about 250 pieces total to run a booth for 5 months. I’m still looking into an Artisan Market located in Saint Augustine for setting up and selling merchandise. So far I have 17 Triangle Shawls to make, 11 hoodie shawls to knit, 3 Triangle Shawl sets, and 7 Hoodie Shawl sets, and a scrap bag for dishcloths to complete before inventory count around Dec 2021 or Jan 2022. Then I’m back on track.
