Watching television programs is probably the most popular type of leisure activities when it comes to spending a persons free time especially on their day off and for the youngsters not doing school matters because the programs that are being televised are available 24 hours a day. Whether this is privilege enables us to watch and access our most-watched shows, some people view this has a positive result to people while according to others, the effect is negative.
Many viewers often gets disheartened when they missed their most-followed shows so they tend to watch live broadcast on the internet but with the availability of it 24 hours, it can benefit the watcher. One example is KBS World, a South Korean pay television channel operated by Korean Broadcasting System, rerun it’s shows after midnight and on weekends. People now can focus with their tasks at work or academics and they can even get home safely because there will be a rebroadcast of their favorite shows.
In addition to that, for a person who have nothing planned on their free time, watching television at home meas quality time with the whole family. Rather than purchasing expensive tickets to watch movies or concerts, people can now watch it on TV anytime of the day as a result there is a minimal spending of money.
In my conclusion, I stand by the fact that the opportunity to access TV shows for 24 hours is incredibly beneficial to all citizens. It will reduce crime and accident rate since they will be at home already during late hours watching.
