Dahling you simply must read this book! It’s all about this devious little caterpillar who simply gorges himself on all manner of divine things
one person's "ugghh this trope is so overdone" is another person's "oooooohohohohohohohoho"
High school English classes piss me off.
Literature is subjective unless the writing is expository. But why are there correct answers for what is right and wrong in a fiction book? I understand having vocabulary and grammar in an eoc exam, but why do I have to identify what the theme behind Kafka's Metamorphosis and the options to chose from are A: Change B: Mental Struggles C: Alienation D: Societal Expectations.
And then the most generic answer (B) is correct even though there is no "select all" answer. If literature is subjective, why are we grading it objectively, like it's something to be tamed...?
👾SOUNDWAVE HEADCANONS🎶
☆ I feel as though Soundwave detests humans, especially in a historical sense and views them as illogical in their views, sort of the way that AM does but to a less extreme extent
☆ Musicwise, I feel as though Soundwave appreciates all forms of music although prefers cyberpunk/synthetic music. Such as Pastel Ghost, Molchat Doma, very few Penelope Scott songs.
☆ Would absolutely thrive playing games like Minesweeper
☆ When Starscream talks, he will turn off his audio receptors so he doesn't have to listen to him
☆ Most definitely would have a lava lamp in his quarters
☆ Takes Ravage and Laserbeak on walks/flights, he would do it more often if he had the time
☆ Respects Shockwave as a scientist but would not leave Ravage or Laserbeak alone with him. If he has damage that he can't fix, Knockout is his next option
End of headcanons!! Hope you enjoyed :3
wtf is self promo I’m meant to be a reclusive hermit that no one knows what I even look like or anything about me except that I write banger books

The wip so far of Florence Hanover for the Evil Science Centre. It's not done yet, mainly because I haven't had a lot of motivation for artwork.
Silly 💝 and freaky 😜 little to and from cards inspired by bands. (I DONT KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THEM BUT I AM IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM TRYING TO CLAIM THEIR WORK AS MINE, I JUST WANTED TO SHARE THESE) If you find the original makers, PLEASE support them. I hope they are good people.
(:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) Alternatives to Self-Harm (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅)
DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor or therapist; I am just someone who has a history with self-harm and wants to help a little bit. This post is intended to provide individuals who do self-harm with alternatives and an exploration of how to reduce or stop self-harming behaviours. This post is neither intended to speak down to individuals who do self-harm, nor is it intended to encourage self-harm. It is a neutral post with the intent of harm reduction, which is completely compliant with Tumblr's Terms of Service. Disclaimer over ♡
Self-harm serves many purposes for the people who engage in it, and can be addictive. It can be very difficult to stop self-harming, especially when you have been using it as a coping mechanism for a long time. If you would like to stop self-harming or try to self-harm less, it's important to understand what you're getting out of self-harm and what emotions you're regulating with self-harm, so you can understand what kind of alternatives might work for you.
Many people use self-harm as a form of grounding and quelling anxiety. Self-harm can release endorphins and dopamine - in simple terms, there are "brain feel good" chemicals. This is part of why self-harm can be addictive. Others use self-harm as a way to feel something when they feel mentally or physically numb. There are multiple other reasons why people may self-harm, but most fall under these two umbrellas.
Something you will see often when talking about self-harm reduction is TIPP: Temperature, Intense exercise, Progressive muscle relaxation, and Paced breathing. These are different grounding and emotional regulation techniques which can help reduce or eventually replace the urge to self-harm. You want to pick something that is going to align with what you want out of self-harm. If you are feeling numb, exercise or "temperature" (like dunking your face in ice water or holding ice) are good picks. If you are feeling anxious, paced breathing and muscle relaxation may be better picks.
Essentially, the goal of stopping self-harm isn't simply to stop self-harming; it's to replace self-harming with a different and healthier coping mechanism.
Alright! Sorry for the long intro, but under the "read more" I give some alternatives for self-harm. I've split them into three sections: replacing the rush, replacing the visuals, and replacing the feeling.
Bomb ass Dutch shit right here. It was at a restaurant called Van Gogh's Eetery. It was a seafood pannkoeken with shrimp, halibut, basil sauce, savoury cream, and salmon. It was so good. The picture I took is ass but it was so good.
