"That’s good to hear. What about the food? Decent?" Caleb asked, a small smile slipping on his face at the other’s excitement.
"It's actually pretty decent yeah!" Holden laughed, and looked at Caleb with a glint in his eyes, "I think you'll really like it here, food and all."
That’s pretty weird, have you been to the nurse?
Right? Oh, I probably should, shouldn't I?
"Because you don’t have the slightest idea of what I’m actually like."
"Doesn't mean I can't make inferences."
"How do you mean?"
"I think I'm getting sick."
"What would you classify as abnormally warm?"
"A possible fever, maybe."
"Hopefully. If not, I’m sure they can give you something for it. Yup, just this morning," He nodded, running a hand through his hair. "How long’ve you been here? Like it so far?"
"Yeah thats true," Holden chuckled slightly, "Oh how exciting! I came a couple days ago, and I really like it- the people here are great."
Caleb laughed and shook his head, offering the other a nod in greeting. “Hey, man, I’m Caleb. Nice to meet you. No, that’s alright. Getting sick at camp doesn’t sound so fun to me either.”
"Nice to meet you too, Caleb," Holden greeted him with a wide smile, and then he looked down and chuckled to himself, "Let's just hope this is a one night thing, right? Anyways, did you just get here?"
"I really don’t know what that means and I’m a little scared to ask," Caleb admitted, eyeing the other carefully.
"If I'm coming down with something I swear I'm gonna- hey, I haven't seen you before, my names Holden," Holden paused and gave him a smile, "Pardon my first world problems."
"For a person who's always warm- I think I'm getting abnormally warm."
Braxton laughed to himself. “Wait, are you actually serious about calling me great?”
"Uh- yeah, why would I lie about something like that?" Holden raised his eyebrows with confusion.
It’s totally, uh, crazy. Being back here, I mean. Like, nobody I knew from camping here is still here? Crazy. —oh, sorry, um. I’m Noah. Hi.

Braxton shook his head. “You’re fine, Holden, I’m just joking with you.” He nodded his head. “He’s the sweetheart. Everyone loves him.”
"Oh- okay good," Holden grinned and then nodded his head softly, "If hes anything as great as you, I'd love to meet him."
“Hey, no need to slang my name.” Braxton chuckled to himself. “Honestly, I would be surprised if you mistake us after we talk.”
Holden blushed a bit and looked down, "Sorry, I just-" He stopped, and then shook his head slightly, "Are you too that different?"

Holden! Whats yours? And uh, I think its Cabin Four.
"You’re welcome," Jamie replied, smiling back. They looked at Holden for a second with a confused look. "Why would it be the wrong decision?"
"I I don't know, maybe I'm just second guessing myself, this is all just really different, you know?" Holden let out an awkward laugh.
"Pale enough to be Caspar the ghost apparently," He grumbled. "Oh, I get a choice? Awesome. Usually it’s just decided for me!"
"Well, you'd be a very nice looking ghost," Holden grinned, and then nodded his head, "Yeah you do, because you should have a say in what people call you- and because I wanna make sure you like it."
"Wow, a go to man. I’m truly honored."
"Well, it’s a long story, but technically yes. Long story short, I was sort of forced into it but I also needed the money. I thought it would be a shitty camp in the middle of nowhere, but it actually turned out to be pretty nice. How have you liked it so far?"
"Hopefully you'll be that one counselor who I get really close to- so far I think its going good."
"Money is always great, and yeah I like it a lot- I've made some friends which is good, the whole layout is kind of confusing, unless thats just a me thing."
