All the plagiarised parts in these two posts are genuine. Thanks for using links that makes it easily verified.
Alright, I’m gonna adress this. I apologize to the fandom for using the Hakuouki tag. I promise it’ll be the only time I use it for this drama, but I want the fandom to be aware of how wronged I’ve been. And do whatever they want with this information.
As previously stated multiple times, Saya/Autumn469469 asked me permission to write this fic, which is based on my own work « Memoirs of a Sword ».
Her using my work to write her own is not the issue.
The issue is that she blocked me, erased all links to my fic and is now inflating her hits artificially, probably in an attempt to erase that it originates from mine.
Saya, I told you to give credit back. Your actions are despicable. I have no choice. I gave you more than enough time and warnings to remediate to the situation.
About Saya’s fic being original :
I can’t believe you’re claiming this, Saya. I saw red when I saw those two claims. And how you changed your fic’s summary. How can you lie so blatantly ? I checked myself on Chapter 25 of your fic, this is my AO3 skin.
Hum… Saya ? This is not acceptable. Anyone who played the game knows that this is not the way the Saito route goes. But it’s how MY FIC goes, which, I agree, maybe some people aren’t aware of. But they would be if you kept the Summary the way it used to be when you posted the fic, don’t you think ? Unfortunately, I’m a lazy bastard and I still have the Emails AO3 sent me in 2023.
About the influence of Memoirs of a Sword on Saya’s fic :
Some people know it, Saya used to be on my server and stayed there until she decided to leave it and I refused to let her back in since she was unhappy there and had several miscommunication issues causing unnecessary drama (which wasn’t only Saya’s fault, like I say, it was miscommunication)
Anyway, Saya, you didn’t entirely lie, I give you that. The idea for your fic does come from a dream. A dream about Memoirs of a Sword.
Why is your work so similar to mine ? That’s because it was based on mine from the start. I mentioned I was thinking about writing it, but didn’t have the time. You decided to write it and I felt like it was such a compliment to my story, that it could inspire others to start writing too, that I offered my help, let it be answering your questions or offering proofreading. (A few examples but tbh, I have SO MANY of them. It lasted 2 years.)
I stopped proofreading very early on, when you decided to post your chapters without proofreading. (Only chapter 1 was posted with a beta) I was already honest with you about not proofreading something already posted, and not wanting to read something « unfinished » and that I would probably not go through the effort of keeping reading. You were frequently asking me for my opinion and advice and I tried not to give it because I disliked lying and because at that point, I wanted you to write what you wanted to read and leave me out of it. I didn’t like your story and you knew it. It wasn’t an issue because you were allowed to write whatever you wanted to write. You were also very insistent so I tried to keep a healthy distance. I admit I have been very harsh sometimes, and I ended up cutting ties with you when it became completely exhausting for me. So exhausting I cut off my socials for 2 or 3 months (until July this year). I adressed that in the post about Plagiarism, which marks the end of our friendship. In this post, I said that what you were doing wasn’t plagiarism. Well, now, I revise my opinion.
Plagiarism: the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
You weren’t doing that. Now you are.
About the title « Twenty-Three nights »
Can we even call that title genuine, Saya ? Did it come to you miraculously in a dream too ?
Give credit back, Saya. That’s the only thing I ask from you. Give credit on your two fics that use mine : Twenty-Three nights AND Kazama and Chizuru one-shots.
Inflating your hits will not make me disappear. It’s almost risible. You/Your friend released a slander-PDF less than 2 months ago. (July 29th) You had 9 fics and a total hit of 2724 across all 9 fics.
When I look at your fic TODAY (September 17th), days later, it’s at 6736. Who are you kidding, sweetie ?
We don’t even have that many people in the fandom. It’s RISIBLE. You look desperate to erase any connections you had with me, and I’m sorry to inform you that everyone can see it.
You once told me that you’d be happy if I wrote my own version of this time Kazama and Chizuru spent together. I didn’t have time and wasn’t interested in having a story about it if you were writing yours. I didn’t want to be in competition with you. But you know what ? I might take you up on your offer. And my hits will be genuine.
