we're the abyss subsystem, a bunch of scary little guys that make up the current host of a larger system with DID. we have lots of names but you can refer to any of us as azzy, and we r all he/hims. bodily adult & we only want to interact with other bodily adults please!

otherwise no DNI (we block anyone we don't want following) but theres more info under the cut. feel free to ask for clarification about any of it.

⤐ this blog is for personal posts, trauma/dissociation/MH related resources and other stuff we like or find interesting. our text post tag is #abyss shrieks. we're shy but we like friendly interaction and are open to asks and dms about pretty much any topic.

⤐ our subsystem is pretty much entirely middles and younger alters/fragments. we might talk or vent about perceiving ourselves as younger. we also might come across as silly or childish. but pls know that we can handle ourselves! we generally want to be treated like an adult since we have adult responsibilities as the host.

⤐ we won't reblog syscourse and consider ourselves very firmly neutral on it. you can ask us about our stance if you're curious for more details but it basically boils down to "we believe people about their internal experiences"

i think the recent (within the past ~year) splits in our subsystem are bc of internal stress from piecing trauma memories together which might be a sign that we sjouldnt be doing that but WHATEVER.

but like it would make sense . we each hold a pretty different reaction to what weve learned
