Kip: (runs up) Ilya! Shane! Thank goodness I found y'all! The guards are after me! Let them know I'm with you two!

Guard: (storms over) Do you know this man?

Ilya: Nope.

Shane: We've never seen this man in our lives, sir.

Guard: (drags him away)

Ilya: Now, that was entertaining.

Shane: (laughs)

Opposites Attract

Plot: In this alternative universe, Shane Hollander is a vampire who takes everything one step at a time, while Ilya Rozanov is a zombie who takes three steps.

Story: Shane was out in the woods, searching for something he could draw blood from, when he came across something that already looked dead.

He slowly made his way over to it, but ended up stepping on a noisy branch, which woke it up.

Shane started screaming. Ilya started laughing.

"Stay back or I'll—"

"Or you'll what? Kill me? I'm already dead, sweetheart."

Shane stood up straight, cleared his throat, and tried not to look like he was about to faint.

"You don't scare me." Ilya stared at him for a beat, then gave him a wicked grin. "I guess you wouldn't mind me reaching into my back pocket and pulling out some garlic then..."

Shane pointed a finger at him. "Don't you dare!"

Ilya walked over to him and started twirling strands of his hair. "Don't be silly. I wouldn't wanna hurt you."

Shane decided to hiss. Surprisingly, it got Ilya to take a few steps back, giving him just enough space to run. But what was he exactly running from? He forced himself to stop thinking about the encounter before he found out the reason.
