Fudgy Avocado Cocoa Brownies (Vegan, Low Carb, Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Grain Free, Flour Free, 84% fat) -original recipe coming from collectingmemories, adapted for keto here-
Nutritional Values per brownie: 79 calories, 1 Net Carb (2g Fibre), 2g Protein, 7g Fat
Ingredients (make 12)
2 ripe avocados (160g)
30g unsweetened cocoa powder (Asda’s own brand has the lowest carb content I could find in the Uk with 8g per 100g)
200g granulated sweetener (if you used a 1:1 sugar sweetener like Natvia / Erythritol. I used Truvia which is 1:3 to sugar so I reduced to 70g)
30g coconut oil (best deal I could find is 2L per 8£ for KTC coconut oil)
2tsp (4g) instant coffee (trust me, it will give it just the perfect kick, one of my favourite is Douwe Egberts in Vanilla flavour)
50g milled golden flaxseed (Aldi has usually good deals but if you buy in bulk like me buywholefoodsonline sells organic and ground linseed for a fiver)
2tbsp vanilla extract (I am usually happy with vanilla flavour, but if you go for the real thing the Nielsen Massey Vanilla Extract is the best I found so far)
1/2tsp salt (alway better going Pink Himalayan, right?)
Instructions
Heat the oven to 180c and prepare a small/medium pyrex dish.
in a big bowl, put the smashed avocados followed by all other ingredients and mash together with a wooden spoon/spatula until everything is well blended.
Extra: once well blended taste for sweetness (no raw egg, so no risks)
Pour into pyrex and bake for approximately 20 minutes. Then leave to cool for at least 2 hours before cutting/serving.
Hey Guys! Happy Friday!! I’m not the kind of person who preaches one diet over another. We are all different!
However, I have been finding that eating a mostly (emphasis on mostly) Keto diet has completely changed my weight loss and my body. I’m no longer bloated, I no longer have cravings, and I’m losing consistently.
I found this list on The Greek Body Codex and I wanted to share in case any of you are interested in trying it!
Grocery List Legend:
* Indicates foods with some carbohydrates – eat in moderation! (2-4 servings max per day recommended for keto dieters)
** Indicates foods moderate to high in carbohydrates – eat sparingly! (1-2 servings max per day recommended for keto dieters)
