hey this blogs not dead btw! also yo i just noticed i have 1,100+ followers here thank yall so much !!! ill try to be more active but ive got a ton of stuff goin on rn, but hopefully i can crank out a few more cats soon

do you have an order on how you draw the cats or nah, if so, how do you decide?

i dont really have an order tbh! i just draw whatever cat(s) come to mind yknow? like last night i was like “dang i really love sorreltail, i should draw her”i also try to do the ones people request as soon as i can but i usually forget :^(

do you have any tips for others who want to do the, like, drawing all the cats challenge? thanks !!

honestly my main advice is give yourself a break. don’t worry about trying to post every day, its okay to not post for a while if you cant (or even if you just arent in the mood to draw them for a while), people will be patient and nobodys going to think anything bad of you for not posting very frequently. i dont know if that would be something youd worry about but its a huge thing for me, its something thats part of why i cant keep up with this blog as much as i really want to! i think “oh no, its been so long, i cant post now” so i end up being inactive for weeks but everyones always supportive and patient anyways!! but yeah nobody minds its all good

also something id always suggest is work on giving as many different kinds of body types as you can! there are tons of things you can do, having over 1000 cats to choose from. (im still working on drawing more than either “skinny, triangle faced cat” or “chubby round cat” tbh) there are tons of ear shapes, face shapes, eye shapes, paw sizes, belly shapes and sizes, ect to put together to make super cool cats !!!! 

also just a general thing im working on and others might like to think about is dont be afraid to try out new stuff! ive gone through multiple art styles, ideas on how to present each cat, ways of coloring, ways of lining and so on. having so many characters to work with gives lots of room to try out tons of new art styles/coloring styles/ect!!!!!
