MICKEY 📱ADAMA
Mickey: Adama, darling. How are you doing after everything. How is the shop?
MICKEY📱ORION
Mickey: Good evening, Orion. My apologies for reaching out at such an absurd hour, however I was curious as to whether you were awake.
orion-inho:
“I believe she may be here,” he answered. After all, Orion hadn’t found her yet, just gotten glimpses, tracked her scent, gotten information he figured could lead him to her. He would find her soon, he knew that much. This town wasn’t that big. “Really? I think that British accent is rather sexy,” he said in response, grinning. “Though… well, I can understand blending in, however,” he agreed. He smiled at her, that he could completely understand. Sure, it was never his dream, but it radiated from her. This intention, this need to do what she wanted to do. When she said ‘friend’ with the clear ring of ‘more than friends’ in the tone, Orion felt like clearing it up right away, he needed to ensure that there was absolutely no doubt about it. “We grew up together,” Orion said. “Her family took me in, since… well. So, I consider her my sister, like, I would murder for her.” Which he had, though, that was best left unspoken. “She would totally tell me you’re out of my league.”
Mickey nodded, considering Orion’s words. “You sound optimistic, at least. That is something, although it may not feel that way at times. I do wish you luck, Orion, on your quest to find your friend.” Turning her head, Mickey studied the other, eyes giving them several once-overs behind her oversized sunglasses. His statement drew an obvious smirk to her lips, and she raised one eyebrow in response. “Is that so? Perhaps I’ll keep that in mind. Never know when that juicy tidbit may come in handy. You’re quite a candid person, Orion. I have a great respect for that. Too many folx have far too much to hide these days. I much prefer blatant honesty. Hold nothing back, I say. Life is far too short, and I am far too pretty to waste time decoding the experiences of others. Give it to me straight, or don’t give it to me at all.” Her tongue-in-cheek tone was obvious, though she left it to Orion to pick up on. There was no denying the small smile that formed at the corners of her lips, hearing the others’ explanation, though she picked up easily on the sentence he allowed to trail. “Ah, how lovely. Relationships like those are always to be cherished. Despite coming into the world being told who our family is, I realized early on that the old adage regarding blood being thicker than water was accurate. Only, however, in its entirety. Are you familiar with the entire saying, Orion?” Mickey asked curiously. “I do hope you find her. It seems important to you.” The final statement struck her, and the Vampire couldn’t help but to laugh once more, red lips parting to reveal her dazzling smile. “Is that so? Tell me, Orion, what exactly is your league?” Truth be told, her interest was piqued, though she played it off, unwilling to reveal her entire hand so early on.
elliotswritings:
Elliot flopped down on the wall, almost out of breath. His heart was racing. He couldn’t get the night before out of his mind. He glanced at the other, pausing a moment before speaking. “I know I’m not a superstitious guy. I never have been. But I… I was taking pictures last night. And this noise… I walked further into the trees. Stupid horror movie moment, I know… but this shadow. It was following me. I swear it was following me.”
Prior to the man’s arrival, Mickey had been resting along the same wall, taking a short break from work to enjoy the fresh, late Spring air. She’d been considering heading back towards her salon when the other had practically collapsed, drawing concern. She listened as he spoke, eyes blinking as she attempted to work out exactly what he was saying. “You know, I have seen many a thing in my time. But even I have to admit, nothing quite as shocking as that. It sounds like you’re having one hell of a day.”
orion-inho:
Orion followed, invested now, not just to figure out who she was, but also because she seemed to radiate importance. And he knew a connection to important people in a town he might be planning to stay would give him a better chance to build a new life here. And also, he figured it might also be in Yoona’s favour. Aside from that, however, he just loved the way she strutted. “I’ve been looking for a friend of mine, we got separated after we travelled the world together, and I promised I would find her eventually.” Which was the truth, of course, the reason why they separated was a matter not easily repeated. “Ah, London, I don’t really hear an accent,” he said, though in all honesty: he would probably not notice the difference much. “Ah, you’re a business owner,” he said with a smirk. That was very good to know, after all, if he needed a job… “Is that why you look so beautiful?”
Mickey cocked her head slowly to the side, showing an obvious interest in what the other was saying, though maintaining her focus on the walkway in front of them. “My. That sounds like an important friend. Are you saying you have found her here, or that you simply believe she may be?” She pressed, even more curious about Orion’s backstory given the tidbit of information. “I’ll take that as a compliment, I worked fairly rigorously to rid myself of the majority of it. If I’m not thinking, of course, it easily slips back. But, I prefer to blend in a little more with my surroundings than that.” Mickey nodded at their statement, smiling through her bright red lipstick. “I am, yes. Cosmetology has been my business for many a year, and I always dreamed of owning my own salon. As I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, I’ve never been the kind of woman to allow my dreams to pass me by. So, I made it happen.” There was a finality in her voice that was unmissable. The compliment came and her smile grew, a laugh akin only to a chime escaping her lips. “You are certainly full of compliments, Orion. Make no mistake, I won’t even think about stopping you. Though, it’s worth saying that this...Friend of yours must be one lucky lady.”
momento-mentari:
The tie sat too tight around his neck, and the amount of time spent during the last meeting had made him dizzy. Mentari pulled the tie away from his neck and took the steps down from the town hall. Of course, to add to the day, it had started to rain. He pointed a finger up at the sky, as he ran towards the nearest shelter - back up the stairs - and the water bounced off of an invisible shield over his head. “It’s really coming down hard without warning, didn’t it?” ( @hollowstarters )
Mickey hadn’t been traveling anywhere in particular, she was simply enjoying the evening, taking in the goings-on around town. Despite her species, the Vampire was an incredibly social woman- she loved seeing people and knowing their stories. When the rain began without warning, her heart sank, mind jumping immediately to the new dress she’d only just bought. Running up the nearest set of stairs, she kept her head low as she found a place to settle. “It certainly is.” Mickey agreed, eyes turning upward as she leaned forward a bit. “If we’re lucky, it won’t go on for long. If we aren’t...” Smiling, she extended a perfectly manicured hand. “Michelle Green. But, you can call me Mickey. Everyone does.”
orion-inho:
Orion’s eyes glistened as she spoke, watching her watch him, finding some corrupted pleasure in the practice. He couldn’t gather much more from her than the familiar smell of the supernatural, not the pine or wood or earth smell of a forest, not a wolf, but something else. His attention was turned to her before he could consider the other options. “Well thank you, in the name of me and my adorable little smile,” he said in return, then offered his arm - the one not carrying bags - when she said she was heading the same direction. She instead strutted away from him, and he simply had to follow. He felt like a puppy following its owner. “Seoul,” he said in response. “You?”
Mickey had sensed the heat radiating from the other near-immediately, narrowing his species for the vampire. She’d encountered many kinds of creatures throughout her lifetime, though she prided herself on rejecting assumptions. She of all people knew what dangerous things they could be. Mickey strutted slowly and deliberately down the walk, hips swaying enticingly as she took the most graceful of steps. Everything about her radiated grace and class, though not in a way that made her feel unattainable. She nodded when Orion shared his home country, expression softening. “You are quite far from home, sug. What brought you to our little corner of the world? I am from London originally, however I have been stateside for many years.” Mickey chose her words carefully, not wishing to give anything away before they were both comfortable enough to initiate such a conversation. “And, many of those years have been in Holloway. I own a Salon and Spa just back that way.” She explained, tipping her head.
orion-inho:
Orion was right away invested in her attitude, not moving an inch after an almost encounter that ended in collision, instead he merely turned a little towards her, lifting his chin a little. “You’d be correct,” he said. “I’ve not been around long enough to become a familiar,” he added. “Hmm, you’re making my morning very difficult,” Orion said, showing that he was thinking about it. “I haven’t been to those American diners too often,” he eventually decided. As she gave him a once-over, he returned the gesture, smiling charmingly. “Orion,” he said, pronouncing it Oh-rye-on. “Nice to meet you, Mickey.”
Mickey smiled as the other spoke, taking all of them in while listening to what was said. Generally speaking, she prided herself on being fairly good at reading people. When one had been on Earth as long as she had, they tended to learn a thing or two about reading other people. “Well, Orion, it is a pleasure to meet you, officially. You, and that adorable little smile of yours.” Cocking an eyebrow, Mickey turned the corners of her lips up a bit. “In that case, I believe the decision has been made. And lucky you, I’m heading that way. Follow me, sug. I’ll get you where you want to be.” Winking, Mickey resumed her strut, forging ahead with an obvious expectation that Orion would follow. “Tell me, where are you from Orion?”
HOLLOWAY TASK 001: MICHELLE “MICKEY” GREEN MOODBOARD
orion-inho:
WHERE: second hand clothing store ( @hollowstarters )
Orion exited the place with two plastic bags filled with clothes that were about his size, perhaps a little too much given he didn’t have a place to stay yet, but he could stick around the hotel for a bit longer. Throwing one bag over his shoulder, he set out, addressing the first random person he saw on the street with a charming smile and a nod of courtesy. “What’s the best place someone from out of time can get some coffee and breakfast?” he asked. “Or brunch, since it’s already eleven.”
Mickey’s heels clacked against the sidewalk as she strutted down the street. A designer bag dangled from her shoulder, while one hand clutched a large, colorful umbrella which remained positioned over her head. At nearly every doorway she slowed to raise a manicured hand, greeting yet another familiar face. It was as if she knew everyone. She very nearly ran into the person standing on the walk, though she managed to stop herself just before colliding with him. Cocking her head, Mickey offered a dazzling smile. “Well hello to you too, sug. You must be from out of town, I’d recognize you otherwise. To answer your question- it depends on what you’re looking for. There’s a donut shop in town, and a bakery if you’re into that kind of thing. There is also the diner, if that’s more your speed.” Giving him a once-over, she took a half-step closer. “What’s your name, darlin’? I’m Michelle Green, but folx around these parts just call me Mickey.”
