I miss you. We were pulled apart by the tides and the consequences of our own actions. The anger and missing chasing each other like the tides and the moon. Im sorry for the silence. I would have done the same.

The closest I’ve ever come to feeling romantic love was when I was eleven and staring out at the ocean for the first time. It was just so much bigger than anything I’ve ever had to wrap my head around, seemingly stretching out forever. And maybe what I felt wasn’t exactly romantic feelings but it was a reverence and awe that id never felt before or since. I looked out at the waves and found something i could give my soul.
