I've recently finished "The Right Sun" and absolutely loved it! I've had a pleasure to read it while being on my own road trip, so the impression it left on me was truly strong and wonderful :) I really liked your characterization of Johnny and Diego, and their relationships. Every character is beautifully written, actually!

I'm very much looking forward to re-reading it in the future.

If it's okay, I wanted to ask if you're planning on updating "The Sun Never" or is it officially abandoned? The first three chapters available on ao3 were promising, I imagine the story would be great if you were to finish it.

i do think i will finish The Sun Never eventually! since finishing trs i’ve worked a very demanding job that has kind of sucked the creativity out of me, but my circumstances will be changing soon massively. i hope to be inspired to finish it and i do have an idea of their story! i will say that the influx of comments and messages ive had lately with people doing re reads is motivational hahahahah

Hiiii hello I just needed to let you know I just read The Right Sun for the second time, and the second read hit me in the feelings even harder. Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing fic ❤️❤️❤️ Having a cathartic cry now after finishing the final chapter again, feeling like life ain’t too bad after all.

just read the right sun for the first time and oh my god it was phenomenal, i see why everyone recommended it! but i'll especially say, as a disabled person, you did a really good job with that. a lot of fic writers will shy away from actually including the ways johnny's paraplegia impacts his life, but i can tell you did at least some research! like especially the scene of him being glad that a hotel they were at had a proper shower bench was so relatable, it felt central to his character in a way that wasn't demeaning or fetishistic like i see in a lot of fics. you're an amazing writer, and i'm so excited to see your future non fic stuff

as many people before me have done, or maybe not as much as I like to believe - Im here to admit that I've read TRS in a span of 24 hours 👉 starting at roughly 3am one night and finishing on 2:55 the next one... I don't think that healthy but the work was beautiful and gave me a great time worth of keeping my mind off of all the stressful things that kept me up at night 🌃speaking of,, I should be heading to sleep now!! I hope you'll have a great time in the big year of 2026
