Hi welcome to my art blog! I suspect I'll mostly be posting ceramics, but you might also encounter painting, sketches, and various other media.
If you see a piece you're interested in owning just shoot me a dm. Clay commissions open, let's talk!
What's a homescar?
I'm so glad you asked! Homescars are divets in rocks along beaches created by the repeated movement of limpets. When the tide is high they wander around scraping algae off the rocks and then follow their slime trails back to their exact starting point to settle in for low tide. Over time, the repeated āsettlingā motions create a homescar that perfectly fits the shape of their shell. Homescars provide a sort of barrier that holds in sea water but allows oxygen to pass through to keep the limpet alive and safe while the tide is out.
