So I’ve given it some thought, and I think it’s time I left this blog. My posting is far too sporadic, and I don’t have much of an excuse for it. It’s just not something I’m interested in managing anymore. I still love Homestuck and there’s no way I’m leaving the fandom just yet. But I will be leaving this blog.

I think a large reason is due to the fact that my views on classpect have changed drastically throughout the years. A lot of what I’ve said on here doesn’t line up with my new views anymore. In fact, the entire spirit of the blog doesn’t really line up with my views, which is why it’s gotten incredibly difficult for me to answer questions.

But don’t worry! I’m not going away for good. For those of you who are still interested in seeing my theories and looking at me talk about Homestuck and Hiveswap, I made a new blog for that! It’s @crowdcontrolhs. Give me a follow! There, I’ll be posting at my own pace with no set schedule, so I’m more comfortable.

I was not calling lgbt+ people “yaoi fangirls”, I was listing different responses I have gotten in the past for claiming that John was straight ( a statement supported by canon). I did not intend for it to be taken as me calling lgbt people yaoi fangirls, I apologize that it came off as such.

I am not an unbiased source of information and never claimed to be, I try to keep my bias to a minimum but it does come through occasionally. Yesterday was not one of those days, I do believe Roxy is lgbt, but I was trying to stick to the facts and keep my own opinions out of it.

And I’m not homophobic, I am literally gay, like super gay. I literally do not give a shit what people are, you could be one of those really specific obscure sexualities that people make fun of all the time, and I would just be “you do you” because my life philosophy has been to let people do what they want as long as they aren’t hurting anybody.  Some anon who enjoys dirk/roxy is not hurting anybody. Literally no one is being hurt by this one rando ignoring canon to enjoy something. If a Homestuck movie or something came out and made Dirk straight then yeah, There’s some homophobic shit there, that’s bad, but some single individual person with no influence over others whatsoever’s opinion is literally not hurting anyone. Our session has a Seer of Hope- would love to know your take on that even though we have some ideas. Her world is the Land of Prisms and Spires, but no ideas on her quest yet.

A Seer of Hope would definitely be the one who can always find positivity in a bad situation. They can take a really terrible predicament and say, “Well here’s how it can turn out okay!” They can be a little too naive and delusional at times, but for the most part they actually work quite logically. By that, I mean they don’t just offer impossible outcomes in a poor attempt to get everyone’s spirits up. They work out all the steps needed to reach the outcome that makes everyone happy, then guide the team using that! Like any Seer, though, they can very easily get upset if something happens that they didn’t predict, or if they misguided the team somehow and now they feel like a total failure. In general, though, this is a very happy Seer, because they focus on the positive outcomes! I know it seems bad now, but it’s okay! This bad thing happening is going to lead to this SUPER GOOD thing happening later!

A Seer of Hope can be defined as “one who knows Hope” and “one who uses their knowledge of Hope to benefit others” (to do: find a way to shorten that lol). Unlike a Mage of Hope, this Seer of Hope would moreso focus on using their intuition for good outcomes to make others happy, rather than themselves. They wish to see the whole team be filled with glee, and the Seer is gifted with the knowledge to guide them to this outcome. Something I want to note, just in case, is that this is NOT the same as Rose’s Seer of Light powers. One of Rose’s largest accomplishments as a Seer of Light was guiding the meteor through the furthest ring, a place that should otherwise be unnavigable and impossible to travel through without getting lost. However, Light is the aspect of revealing; of uncovering secrets and eliminating obscurities. This was Rose’s power. A Seer of Hope could not do that. A Seer of Hope’s power would pertain to making hopeless situations hopeful by guiding the team along the path to hopefulness. Interpret that as you will.

As for the land quest, it should challenge the Seer in this way! Throw a dire, hopeless situation in their face and have the Seer figure out how to fix it. How to return Hope to the consorts. You seem like you’re creative, so I’m going to leave the rest up to you. It should be your character and your story, after all! Get creative with it. :D

could you do Knight of Doom for me? they are in the Land of Death and Madness (which besides being a desolate red wasteland, i don't have much ideas for it)

A Knight of Doom would be one who has a bit of a lowkey interest in sacrifice, death, and other Doom-y things, but they probably don’t talk about that very often. They’re very eager to help other people, as Knights are, and they will also fabricate a sort of persona that they act upon, also like Knights do. This is honestly a post for another day, though, so moving on. This Knight will be one of the most selfless Knights in a sense, willing to sacrifice their health and even their life just to assist their friends.

Now where it gets interesting. Knight of Doom can be defined as “one who serves others Doom” and “one who serves others using Doom”. Going back to something I said previously, a Knight of Doom would have no qualms with putting their well-being on the line to help a friend, and likely does this often. Knights crave validation; they need others to depend on them and look up to them to feel like they’re useful. A Knight of Doom would do this by restricting others when the need arises. They would tell their peers, “no, you can’t do that, you’re gonna get killed or worse, i will actually tie you to a goddamn tree if you don’t listen to me,” and, especially if the chance of dying were a part of the equation, take it upon themselves to do whatever it is needs to get done. A Knight of Doom’s main purpose in their session would be to offer Doom to their sessionmates for everyone’s benefit. What that may translate into is entirely up to you and how you want your story to go.

(Also, sorry, but I’m not sure if you wanted me to expand upon their land. If you do want me to, shoot me another ask when I open those back up. :D )

could you do a Land analysis for a Mage of Time in the Land of Mosaics and Clockwork?

Mod CC: LOMAC is quite the gorgeous land. Covered in abstract art and very colorful, it’s certainly difficult to get bored in this land. As well as mosaics, there is also lots of clockwork scattered about, as well as things such as gears and clocks being depicted in the mosaics themselves. It’s always sunny, the perfect amount of sunny to hit the art just right and really bring out the colors.

Buuuut of course, like with any land, disaster has stricken LOMAC. The Denizen has tampered with the clockwork, and now the consorts can’t run anything! They depend on those mechanisms to run their factories, their power supply, everything! The objective of the Mage is to deduce a way to fix the clockwork, or if they’re real creative, work out an alternate way to run the village/prevent the clockwork from even being tampered with in the first place (:0).

KL: a Witch of Space would likely disagree with the idea that everything in life is random, instead choosing to believe in destiny and fate, they would be patient and practical, they may be interested in science, they would break the rules of change and creation, doing or making things their own way

Just a Quick Update!

CC: Okay, so, we’re making progress towards opening up asks again. Preferably, I want to get all of the asks in the inbox answered before I do. Currently there are 42.

The plan is that I answer at least one every day. That means the asks will open in 42 days at the most. This isn’t taking into account whatever questions KL answers, if I happen to be in the mood to answer more than one on a few days, or any asks that ask questions I don’t answer (non-canon titles, mostly)/Asks that are poorly worded or have mistakes in them, those of which I won’t post.

But for now, expect the ask box to open back up in under 2 months. I’m excited!

KL: currently, im trying to get at least 3 or 4 asks answered each week, so asks will hopefully be open again in mid September

now seems like a good time to give a quick reasoning behind which asks i choose to answer, i leave any asks involving lands, quests, and powers to cc, i will be prioritizing regular “can you tell me the personality of this classpect” type asks first, next will come the “would a relationship work between these classpects” because those are often about twice the work of the first kind, the last kind of ask i will get to is session asks, because, if im going to be honest here, i spend actual hours on a single session ask, and it gets just as much attention from other people as a simple classpect ask, which each normally take me 20-30 minutes, another problem with these session asks is that i just dont currently have the time to pour hours of effort into a single post, to try and put it into perspective, take a look at the first session ask i answered (you can use the tag #session to find it easily), that single post took me about 3 hours, counting time spent on researching each classpect

How do you think my session would go? We have a Knight of Heart, Rouge of Space, Heir of Time, Bard of Hope, and Thief of Life.

CC: The first thing I notice is that Bard of Hope. Bards are ALWAYS risky to have in a session, because they can quite literally make or break it. You have one of Hope though, which scares me because “one who invites the destruction of Hope” doesn’t sound too good, does it? Don’t get me wrong; a Bard of Hope could be an incredibly useful ally, given that, well, they’re an actual ally. The natural capricious nature of Bards is just really unpredictable, though. Keep a close eye, is all I’m saying. That Thief of Life might prove to be a bit of an issue too. Again, extremely valuable ally given that they’re actually working with the team. Thieves of Life, though, are bound to be stubborn. If you don’t want to do things their way, they’ll probably perceive that as you trying to control them and get pissed. Life players do NOT like to be told what to do or feel like they’re being held back, double that paired with the Thief class. Just be cautious around them. Remind them that, while their plan is great, they need to think rationally and consider the options.

As for the other players, you have a Passive class for both of your cardinal aspects. However, this really isn’t that big of a deal because your Time player is an Heir. Heirs don’t generally have very much trouble doing something Active with their aspect, given that they’re healthy and balanced. And actually, an Heir of Time sounds like a pretty good title to help assist with the frog breeding. Your Rogue of Space will probably initially have a bit of an issue with frog breeding starting out, but the Knight of Heart should be able to reassure them and help them out there.

Honestly, the Knight of Heart is a blessing in this session. They are definitely the leader, even though the Thief will probably say otherwise. The Knight of Heart will help everyone in the session along with their personal quests. You know, discovering who you are and what you’re destined to be and all that. Right up the Knight’s alley. The Knight should also be good at managing the relationships in the session, though this applies to romantic relationships far more than platonic ones. Basically, the Knight will be the total parent of the session, guiding everyone along down their paths of Self and hopefully breaking up any feuds that might happen.

So, my synopsis is; Keep the Bard under (very) close watch. Keep the Thief grounded and focused. Ease the Rogue into frog breeding and make sure they’re not doing it alone. Have the Heir help out the Rogue, and trust their intuition about Time and timelines, because it’s probably right. Knight, you’re the leader, so you need to keep everyone focused on beating the game and do the ectobiology.

Personality, powers and land of a witch of doom? Please and thank you.

A Witch of Doom would be temperamental, like Witches tend to be. Except if you piss off this Witch, you’re DOUBLE fucked. Fucked x2 combo. They can be nice people, sure, but hoo boy can they get nasty. You’ll know when they’re upset, because they’ll be very gloomy and pessimistic, and will NOT be afraid to lash out at whoever says something they don’t like. In fact, even when this Witch is happy it seems to be more of a “sarcastic happy” than anything. They’d be pretty enthusiastic about restrictions and death, too. Like, this Witch would go to every single one of Aradia’s corpse parties and have a blast. Like Doom players, they would also probably gravitate toward self-sacrifice if it meant they could change something. They’d likely be fascinated by the mortality of humans and how we all have some boundaries that we can’t overcome. That’s where their powers come into play.

A Witch of Doom is one who changes Doom and changes through Doom. A God Tiered Witch of Doom would be able to alter the restrictions set on themselves and others. Remember how Feferi, as the Witch of Life, was responsible for the creation of the dream bubbles, effectively changing Life, giving the Doomed another chance at living? A Witch of Doom would basically do the opposite; they would manipulate Doom so that those meant to live, well, won’t anymore. They’re dead, is what I mean. Like I said before, they would gravitate toward self-sacrifice. That’s where the “changes through Doom” part is prevalent. Honestly, it’s very likely that it’s a part of their destiny to sacrifice themselves in some grandiose way to change things for the greater good. That’s kinda cool in my opinion.

A possible land could be the Land of Lava and Tremors. LOLAT is a volcanic-themed world that has lava rivers snaking about its surface. Occasionally, the denizen will cause an earthquake to happen, causing the lava to scatter and flood. Sounds fun, right? Well, the consorts certainly don’t think so. They’ve built their towns in the safest possible areas, farthest away from the rivers, but there’s a prophecy that soon, an earthquake more severe than ever seen before will occur and destroy their village. As well, this earthquake will temporarily cover the land with lava, destroying anything and everything. The Witch of Doom must find a way to help the consorts survive the earthquake, and find a way to stop the lava from flooding. Perhaps by changing the lava in some way that will hinder the enemies? The denizen? It’s up to the Witch, but the result of this should be that, instead of the consorts being killed, someone else is killed instead. How dramatic would it be if the Witch’s denizen told them that the only way to save these consorts was to sacrifice themselves?

The entire reason JohnJade is considered incest is because the exact same genes of the exact same two people were used to create them. Like normal procreation, except the process was a whole lot quicker. They are, genetically, brother and sister. The same goes for Dave and Rose.

However, Jane was created with her own genes and no one else’s. The same goes for Jake, Dirk, and Roxy. They are clones of themselves, and none of them were born to two parents in any way, shape or form.

That makes it logically impossible for any of the alpha kids to be related.

Jane and Jake are, in essence, Jade and John’s parents. Roxy and Dirk are, in essence, Dave and Rose’s parents.

Let me restate this one last time.

All of the Alpha kids (Jane, Jake, Dirk, Roxy) are products of themselves. They do not have biological or genetic parents. Therefore, they do not have any siblings. Therefore, none of them are related to each other.

Again, I don’t ship JaneJake or DirkRoxy. But it ain’t incest, y’all.

KL: a Prince of Time would probably be impatient, they would be able to quickly change, they often hate ambiguity and mystery, they may often start projects without ever finishing them, they might be creative and good at art

they get annoyed by constant noises or the ticking of a clock, they don’t ever spend enough time to learn how to improve, they may ruin relationships or other things by taking too long, they believe they are geniuses, and likely don’t try to learn new things because they already believe they’re amazing

Could you describe a Mage of Heart's Land of Shards and Reflection or a Rogue of Light's Land of Spotlights and Shadow? (Yes, I know the latter land could be considered a walking contradiction.)

CC: LOSAR - This land’s appearance reflects how the Mage feels in the current moment. If the Mage is feeling sad, the land rains and is bleak and quiet. If the Mage is happy, the land is sunny and cheery. Broken mirrors scatter the land and the ground is covered in glass shards. The mirrors that are intact break whenever the Mage looks into them. This represents the Mage’s keen knowledge of their character flaws, and how this knowledge likely leaves them unhappy with themselves. Therefore, all they can see when they look in the mirror is a broken and unhappy person, and the mirror reflects this. The challenge of the Mage is to find peace with themselves; to understand that everyone is flawed, and that we must overcome our insecurities about these flaws to be happy with ourselves and other people.

LOSAS - This land is covered in darkness and shaded places to hide. The consorts’ villages are also in these shaded areas. However, several large spotlights scatter the land and light up patches of the ground. It just so happens that these lit up patches contain food and water that can’t be found anywhere else, and the consorts need them to survive. The consorts, like the Rogue, are also frightened by the concept of “being in the spotlight”, though maybe in a more literal sense. The Rogue must figure out a way to show the consorts that it’s okay to be in the spotlight, and that they won’t get hurt. This, of course, requires the Rogue to show that THEY are okay with being the center of attention. They need to be an example for the consorts to follow.

If you would could you please analyse the Heir of Light?

KL: an Heir of Light would probably have a great attention spam, good eyesight, great perception, and exceptional comprehension skills, they may also be incredibly lucky, they constantly look for meaning and importance in everything, they likely often get caught up in their personal projects and struggle to know when to move on to something else, they may be highly superstitious

they are the type of people who will stay stuck on endless problems with no solutions for hours, the kind of people who will spend their whole day trying to solve a Rubix Cube, the thought that they wouldn’t be able to solve a problem doesn’t even go through their mind, they can also easily be misled by false information and incorrect knowledge
