It started at my house (it seemed like my house bit there were some differences) you (a friend called mikaelle) were there with me and we were watching movies on my computer , you lying on the bed and i was sitting on the floor, eating snacks at the same time. then we were called on a meeting, and i turns out we were on a super big spaceship, and we were both cadets in a sort of starfleet and my house was like my quarters. You said you weren't feeling well, so you didn't go to the meeting , i gave you a big hug and i went, it was a meeting with our superior officers, which turned out to be vulcans (again, a extraterrestrial specie from star trek, known for their excessive use of logic and lack of emotions) and one human, who was our direct supervisor, he was a colonel, very friendly, yet just.
all the cadets had a sweet red suit , I'll try to draw it because it was really cool looking. The meeting was about etiquette and stuff in formal 1st contact meetings, what were the procedures... a fellow cadet (he was from another specie, couldn't recognise which one but he was small, the size of a child, and had one plating on the visible part of his body, his shape was humanoid though) interupted them with a stupid question or smth, i don't remember exactly what, and the vulcans got kind of angry and yelled at him.
The meeting was long, and at some point you finally showed up, (rocking that fantastic red suit too, i really need to draw them) , gave me a smile and the briefing went on.
Then it ended and we were discussing and laughing amongst cadets, and something hit the ship, the evacuation alarm sounded and we all ran to the escape pods, (very efficiently , we could see it was something that was covered in basic training exercises because there was no panic, everyone knew what to do)
The escape pods looked kinda like a line of elevators, (I'd say around 7 in one room )but they could only hold 1 person, human or else, when one was loaded with someone, it shot downward and another appeared at his place , putting up a green light when it was good to go (the whole operation lasted for like 7 seconds) so i climbed in , and it shot downward. In the escape pod i got my spacesuit /armor, and i could actually ask for what i wanted, so i got a phaser rifle (basically a ray gun where you can change the setting from kill to stun) an armor and a standard helmet. I thought the helmet looked dull so i asked for the main helmet there is in the game mass effect andromeda, and it appeared on my head.
The computer voice told me that my suit had no parachute in it, so that was a problem.
Then the elevator/escape pod stopped abruptly, and i hit the ground with a lot if force (luckily i had my armor on) it looked like all the escape pods were stuck in line at this specific deck.
The lights were flashing red , with an alarm .
I could see people running outside of the window of the escape pod, they looked panicked. I tried to fire a beam from my rifle continuously at the window to break it so i could get out, no luck , the window was absorbing the energy. Then i noticed a small conduit opening to lead me to the next pod , i took it , and in the second pod the window was cracked, (the windows were stupid big ,like a complete side of the pod, about 2 meters high on 1,50m wide. So i tried the ray gun again on the part were the cracks began, but the only effect was the cracks fusing with each other kinda like repairing it. I turned around and tried the gun on the metal wall (i don't know why i didn't thought of that before^^') a continuous phaser beam melted a hole in the pod and then in the wall behind. I stepped in it, (apparently the suit could withstand molten metal) and found myself in a service corridor, which was surprisingly high of ceiling (about 3 meters) it was very dark, with only the light from my chest lamp and some very sparse maintenance lights on the ceiling. The walls were filled with tubes and wires and stuff, protected by a metal wiring with square holes.
I could still hear the faint alarm sounds from outside , but also some creaking and alarming sounds of stress on the hull of the ship. I turned off my light in case there were enemies somewhere here, as to not draw attention to me.
I quickly scanned the damage and it turns out we were hit by something, and this something then proceeded to hack the systems to make the computer believe a full evacuation was needed. In the service corridors i found two geths (they artificial life forms from mass effect) , busy accessing one of the electrical conduits i spoke of earlier. They saw me and started shooting at me , so i retaliated, and i turns out my rifle was very efficent on them.
After that i continued to explore the service corridors, jumping at the smallest sound, and then at a turn, something is coming. I aimed my phaser instinctively but it turns out to be the colonel, and a unknown woman, both in armor, they also almost shot me. I debriefed with the colonel and he told me i did a good job identifying the impact site, but that geth are unrealistic so it must be somthing else (even though there are two dead one like 30 meters where i came from).
He also has my parachute (idk why) so he gives it back to me, (he clips it and my suit absorbs it) the woman, who is also an officer, tells me there is a wingsuit in it also.
We exit the corridors, to find ourselves in a store room, brightly lit, (it kinda resembles an ikea store room, but with more white paint and tech stuff) i am rejoined by some of the cadets, and one more officer, dressed in black, who asks us what we know and what we can guess from the situation. It kinda turns into a guessing game , where he clearly changes what he knows depending on what we say .
I see you coming back with the last group of cadets, it seems some died during the evacuation, and I'm so glad to see you i think i cried , then i fell, because I'm actually injured, there is a piece of metal stuck in my side , and you caught me and carried me to a bed (a real bed, in the store room, no idea why there was one here) i lost a lot of blood, so i pass out momentarily. When i woke up I'm in my quarters , and you are here with some of the cadets, the wound is almost gone so i guess i was healed , i think i really woke up after that
