The Lancer Drone will hunt you down if it catches sight of you!

Be sure to jump over them or drop through the platform if they get too close for comfort.

Another destructible object that appears are these fancy test tubes!

Primarily these tubes will be directly related to objectives requiring you to rescue what is captive within it.

Another awesome weapon available for purchase is the Optic Blaster!

This precision shot will sear through everything in its way.

After the long weekend break we’re back at it and developing the pre-alpha.

Not a lot of implementation, but a lot of optimization before getting more content in! Hope I don’t break it~

Crates!

Within the world of Chirp Commando there will be a multitude of destructible objects yielding plenty of coins. The difference here is that you can push it, jump on it, make it drop a floor and use it as cover against enemies!

Here’s another enemy!

This drone patrols around the map and disrupts your roaming with an onslaught of bullets. Watch out for this one!

Objectives are a big part of Chirp Commando and helping all the little birds are just one of your duties!

Here is one of the little birds that will require your assistance!

Meet the Drone Bomb.

It’s a pesky little floater that chases after you and explodes on contact! This is only one of the many other enemies you will encounter in Chirp Commando.

Helmets!

On top of having multiple weapons to purchase and upgrade, the shop will also have helmets with different abilities available for you pleasure.

This is an example of the Iron helmet and its 3 stages of upgrades

Coins!

You’ve seen a shop and seen something you could buy from there, but you haven’t seen what you need to collect to purchase it with.

Coins are found almost everywhere and keeping a lot on hand is always good, just be sure not to lose them ;)

One of the many items that can be purchased and upgraded at the shop. Expect more WIP weapons to be uploaded during development. Looking forward to seeing how this weapon’s final look will be :D
