2010's X-Men Origins: Cyclops Vol.1 #1 cover by artist Adi Granov. Source
Imagine an X-Men Comic with Cyclops and his optic blasts suddenly change to a different color, they still work as normal but now they're purple or something. This goes on for like 5 issues then mid fight they go back to red. The fight ends, the X-men just shrug their shoulders and move on. The last panel of the comic is a cut away to some cosmic being going "oh shit, I changed a dimensions color. Let's put that back....I'm sure no one noticed."
Hope Summers blasts Logan
In one of Logan's many attempts to kill women with red hair (seriously dude, rethink your life) Hope finesses him with a knock-knock joke turned one liner. She borrows her grandfather's (who she just shot in the eye) powers and blows him off the roof. Hope Summers rules. ZAAARK
Cyclops actually has 3 MUTANT POWERS – not just his optic blasts! 😎
