I think people who say that Tim deserves to move past the role of Robin are misunderstanding Tim as a character and misrepresenting the role that Robin plays. Tim knows that Batman *needs* Robin (and conversely that Robin needs Batman, which is part of why he rebrands after Bruce disappears, even if the rebrand itself was sort of lackluster)
Insinuating that Batman doesn’t respect Tim or the mantle of Robin is completely absurd given the number of times that Bruce has directly stated how much he respects Tim as not only a hero but as a detective (Batman 617 being my favorite example). Not to mention the fact that he obviously respects Tim enough to let him operate on his own for years, why would that level of respect change now that Tim is Robin again
honestly I don’t want Tim as Robin because it’s sooo weird if Damian is also Robin like pick something different that’s not a word Kendrick Lamar would remember Tim-
Damian isn’t Robin anymore, he stepped down over a year ago
