what he means: Honestly the idea of men not being able to have emotions other than anger is really upsetting and an issue that needs to be addressed in our society. The hyper masculinity in our society that we teach to male children starting right as they are able to speak is an issue, we should be teaching kids that feelings are okay and that they should be able to express themselves in a healthy manner instead of bottling it up because "crying isn't manly"

There is power in being fat, if you can find it. I know that because I’m both fat and tall, that I have never felt physically intimidated by a man the way other women may. This doesn’t mean that I  haven’t experienced violence at the hands of men, but not having to feel that constant fear on public transit, or to feel like I can take a job as an Uber or Lyft driver and not be concerned about my passengers… I know that a lot of women never get to feel that. Because of the way my own individual body is, I have a certain privilege, and I try to remember things like that alongside all the shit life throws at me for being fat.
