i cant help but think that the gag of Yellow trying to punish himself for something he was convinced that he did and you thinking you found remains of his death right next to water AND him not wanting to hurt anyone else so he locks himself in jail is related to uhhh

is it weird that even though im really glad we got chapter 3 & 4 released together (and i feel it was kind of necessary for the story progression) im still a little sad i dont get to know what the fandom wouldve cooked up if we were just left with the ending of chapter 3 for a while

i really like the small detail that when you encounter the knight in chapter 3, susie isnt like "SO YOURE THE KNIGHT!" or something. you have to wait a few seconds until the battle starts and it says "The Roaring Knight appeared."

it could just be because why would the characters immediately assume its the knight. (though i feel like that only applies to susie. ralsei not saying anything is kinda foreshadowing to him knowing more of the prophecy imo)

BUT i honestly just like it on a player end. its a moment of WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT REALLY THE KNIGHT??? NO WAY! ITS CHAPTER 3 WHAT! and you are confirmed with text in the battle being like yeah this enemy approaches. its impactful cause "The Roaring Knight appeared." is so simple but yet the simplicity adds to the WHAT THE FUCK -ness of the moment

i really like it :)

also Black Knife is one of the best tracks in the entire ost so far (fact)
