"Indi," he said softly, his voice carrying an almost tangible intensity. He reached out, his fingers brushing a stray strand of hair from my face. The touch was gentle but there was a firmness in his hold, a silent declaration of how much he cared.

I looked up at him, meeting his eyes. The glimmer of something more in his gaze made my heart race. He leaned closer, his breath warm against my skin. "You know," he murmured, his voice low and husky, "sometimes it's hard for me to control myself around you. You're so...damn irresistible. I can understand why that prick would try to make a move..."

His hand moved to my waist, pulling me closer, and I could feel the heat of his body against mine. There was a new urgency in his touch, an almost primal need. He pressed his lips to mine, a slow, deliberate kiss that deepened with each passing second. The way he kissed me—heavy and commanding—left no room for doubt about his feelings.

My breath hitched as his hands roamed, exploring with a mix of tenderness and authority. Every touch, every caress was charged with desire.

His lips trailed from my mouth to my neck, planting soft, heated kisses along the sensitive skin. Each kiss was a mix of tenderness and longing, sending shivers down my spine and goosebumps all over my body.

He paused, his breath warm and steady against my skin, and then he pulled back slightly, his gaze still burning with intensity. "You're mine, Indi," he murmured, his voice a low, rough growl. "And I'm not letting you forget it... or Scott, for that matter."

I couldn't see his smirk, but I felt it in the way his lips curled against my neck. His kisses deepened, becoming more insistent as he began to leave a trail of playful bites along my skin. Each nibble sent a shiver through me, causing me to gasp softly and earning a few shared giggles between us. My cheeks flushed a deep crimson as his affection mixed with a teasing dominance.

"You're my girl," he growled softly, his voice a mix of possessiveness and tenderness. He pulled away just enough to look into my eyes, a satisfied smile on his face. Then, he leaned in to give me one last gentle peck on the lips. "And I'm only yours."

BLURB FROM MY NEW XMEN FANFIC/BOOK (The Beast of Shadows)

I took a moment to look at myself in the mirror after changing, smoothing out my hair as best as I could. My cheeks were flushed, and my eyes were glossy from the whisky, but there was something more behind them—a hope that he might see me the way I saw him. Day by day, I found myself trying to be more presentable around Logan. Not that he seemed to care—he'd thought I was beautiful from the day he found me, at least from the way he talked. But I wanted to do more than just look good; I wanted to make his heart skip a beat the way he'd made mine do these last few days.

I took a deep breath before stepping back into the room, and the sight of him nearly stopped me in my tracks. Logan was in the middle of pulling off his shirt, revealing his muscular frame, while his faded jeans lay discarded on the floor. The waistband of his boxers peeked out from under the covers as he tossed his shirt aside and settled into the bed. He glanced over at me, a slight smirk playing on his lips.

"Hope this is fine," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I tend to sleep hot."

"Y-yeah..." I cleared my throat, trying to steady myself as I walked over to the bed. "Yeah, that's fine," I managed to say with a smile before slipping under the covers. My heart raced as I debated whether to make a move.

"It's fine with me if you're okay with this..." I said softly, the words carrying more meaning than they seemed. I moved closer, slipping my arm around his waist, resting my head on his chest, and draping my leg over his. The warmth of his body against mine was intoxicating.

"Oh, that's completely fine by me," Logan replied, his voice a deep rumble as he adjusted himself to make us both more comfortable. He wrapped his arm around me, his hand resting on my hip. "It's been a while since I've held someone like this," he whispered, pulling me closer as if he didn't want to let go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It would be awesome if you guys could check out the rest of my book and interact with it! The thought of enduring so much loss was almost unbearable to me, and it deepened my respect for both Logan and Billee. I wondered how they managed to keep letting people in despite the inevitable pain. Was that why Billee was so distant? I hesitated, the heavy atmosphere making me question whether to continue, but curiosity won out.

"How do you ever get close to someone, knowing the pain of losing them is almost inevitable?" I asked, my voice tinged with empathy.

Logan leaned in, his demeanor turning more personal. "I usually don't let myself get too attached," he admitted, his frown slowly lifting as his charming smile began to return. "But recently," he paused, looking at me with a hopeful glint in his eye, "things have been changing. When I was writing the Fortnight music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music.  Pretty much everything in it is a metaphor or a reference to one corner of the album or another. For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it. Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I’m so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration. I’m still laughing from getting to work with the coolest guys on earth, Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles (tortured poets, meet your colleagues from down the hall, the dead poets). I still can’t believe I get to work with the unfathomably brilliant Rodrigo Prieto on cinematography and my team of dream collaborators: Ethan Tobman (production design), Chancler Haynes (editor), Anthony Dimino (1st AD), Jil Hardin (producer) and Dom Thomas (executive producer). Parliament aced the VFX as always. Joseph Cassell, Lorrie Turk and Jemma Muradian made these tortured looks come to life. The entire crew made this a dream to shoot.
