Gelb: Teil der Hauptfamilie, aber aufgrund der Vermischung mit einem Nicht-Senju oder Senju niederer Stellung hinter den anderen zurückgestellt.

Der Stammbaum zeigt selbstverständlich nicht die Gesamtheit des Senju-Clans. Es zeigt auch nicht alle Geschwister oder Kinder der jeweiligen Mitglieder, sondern nur einen Ausschnitt, um die Beziehung der uns bekannten Charaktere etwas zu verdeutlichen.

I wonder if Sakumo knew the Sannin. Orochimaru comments that Kakashi didn’t have the Sharingan “last time we met”, and also says he’s all grown up, which would have had to mean he was <11 or so when they interacted, and I can’t really imagine a situation where they would have organically had a conversation besides through Sakumo

One thing that just struck me re-watching season 4 : Benedict proposed publicly

This probably the best proposal of the show (no shame to Colin) because Sophie’s main issue was that she was hidden as a shameful secret

Her relationship to her father is hidden (she has to call him ‘sir’ and he calls her ‘my ward’ instead of his daughter)

Araminta makes her a maid to hide her from the ton because nobles barely pay attention to their staff (which Eloise notes at Cressida’s ball when Hyacinth is disguised as maid. And even Sophie herself said "nearly invisible" when pitching the idea)

The whole side plot about the mistress shows you that being a mistress is to be hidden and never being able to love publicly (the guy was also cheating on his wife but that’s beside the point)

Benedict’s proposal is such a good way to put an end to Sophie’s life as a shameful secret. Because now everyone knows he is hers and they are a pair. The whole ton saw the ring and there’s no going back (and added that she’s just "arriving" in the ton, it’s even more noticeable as in the ton’s eyes he proposed after one single dance with her which garantes they will talk and remember her as the woman who bagged Benedict Bridgerton in less than 10 minutes)

They may have had a quiet and intimate wedding - and it suits both of their personalities - but the public proposal was such a beautiful symbolic moment to Sophie’s character arc
