hybrid-felix:
Felix hadn’t been to see Han since he got back. The thought of pulling him into Cristofer’s plan made him feel sick. But Cristofer wanted to talk to him. He was plaguing Felix with terrible headaches. They’d gone away after Griffin agreed to help him, but now they were back, urging him to get Han and Nixie on his side as well.
“Hey, Han,” he said softly, grabbing his brother’s sleeve as he passed him. “Han. It’s me.”
When Han turns to look at Felix, he can barely believe his eyes. He’s silent for a moment or two, stunned, and then the guilt hits him like a truck. Realistically, what had he done to help his brother? To aid his siblings? He had played hero for a day, tried to figure things out and failed, ultimately, then returned to hiding away like he did best. He’d failed them, had failed Felix.
He swallows it down, nearly trembling, unable to look at his brother. “You’re... you’re okay?”
