fyi, the pineal gland is a lil piece of your brain that’s predominantly responsible for regulating your brain’s melatonin, which in turn is responsible for sleep patterns.

what THIS meme is referring to is the fact that many… well… new-agey types believe this part of your brain is responsible for a lot of pseudoscientific phenomenon, like psychic abilities and being able to sense auras and things like that.

many of those with this belief also believe that fluoride calcifies the pineal gland, thus rendering it inert. and subsequently blame the “soul deadening” of our culture on the fact that we have fluoride in our water, and we’re all being cut off from this “energy” that we should be able to sense and communicate with.

so this meme is basically saying that the guy’s lost his psychic-soul-abilities because he drank too much water that’s being poisoned by the government to keep us from understanding The Truth ™
