Iâm sure somehow this will seem like a hot take, but if you genuinely did not like the motive and the reveal of the killers in Scream 7 at the very least, I suggest you watch the movie one or two more times because as someone whoâs now seen the film three times it is legitimately the only part of the movie that keeps getting better every time. I loved the motive and most of the reveal the first time around, but now after my third watch, it may be my favorite of the franchise. Even though I called both of them as ghost faces on some level even before I saw the movie I genuinely feel particularly with Anna campâs character, Jessica that the motive and just the whole scene itself is very good. I think people are just too butt hurt over the fact Stu isnât alive and that the killers motive wasnât just a rehashed version of ones that weâve seen on and off again for 30 years.
Seriously Iâm very surprised by the amount of people hating on the third act because the more I watch it the better it gets and itâs the only part of the movie that gets better every time I watch. None of the movie was bad. Donât get me wrong, but itâs rare that a movie. Any part of it gets better every time you watch and this one does that proving once again, not only why this is one of the longest running horror franchises, but one of the most successful, and this film in particular is now the most successful in the franchise. seriously I know I might sound like a broken record, but I genuinely believe if people just took the time to really watch it one or two more times and pay attention. They will start to see at least a little bit of what I do.

But I thought people were gonna boycott itâŠđđ seriously Iâve actually seen people online talking about how much they support Melissa and that they are not gonna watch the movie ïżŒ then making it clear that they watched the movie because they are critiquing the movie. You all did such a good job at boycotting the film that you managed to go watch the movie and still think you boycotted the film.
I donât mean for this to be controversial, I just have to say something at this point. If youâre someone that is going to complain about the new scream film because of Melissa Barrera and then you go on to make it clear youâve watched the new film. You are a hypocrite.
SCREAM 7 (2026)
I have a lot of feelings about scream seven and most of them will take some time to really process. All I will say is I enjoyed the movie I had fun I was entertained and thatâs the entire purpose of these and most movies. Were there some issues with it yes could the overall story have been stronger yes. Do I still think the majority of people hating on the film are doing it simply because they want to hate on a movie, they havenât seen to begin with yes. Are most of the critiques coming from fans, intelligent, and indicating any understanding of the film series or filmmaking no. Overall, I give it a seven out of 10 it wasnât the best but it certainly wasnât the worst. in fact, itâs probably the best theyâve done since Wes Craven died. ïżŒ
