So it’s been a couple years since I’ve been truly active on here, and I just thought I’d give a lil update :)

I have the hottest, most amazing partner on the planet and we are going on 3+ months together. For most of my life I had truly convinced myself that I would never be able to find a healthy and happy relationship. That no one who I desired would ever want me in the way I wanted them. Although I still am battling many insecurities (yes, believe it or not being in a relationship does not magically wipe those away), I have found a joy that I’ve spent years yearning for and wasn’t sure I would ever have.

Just wanted to share this with anyone else who may be out there, hopelessly crushing.

It's so hard when you get that sudden stab of loneliness. Not loneliness for friends, but for a delicate intimacy with someone who'll know you better than you know yourself.

On May 25th, George Floyd was murdered by a police officer after the officer held him down by his neck with his knee. He was an unarmed Black man whose life should not have been taken from him. The four cops involved have been fired, but have not been charged with murder or received any other consequences.

Please do your part to get #JusticeForFloyd and his family by texting JUSTICE to 668-366 and FLOYD to 551-56.

We must spread awareness and take action to prevent future injustices like this from occurring!
