Pharoah is a personal favorite for me too.

I fucking love nautical stories, pirates submarines, illegible sailor talk, and Pharoah marries it with my other favorite genre, giant monsters. It hits that weird cross genre sweet spot in a totally natural way. It’s such a fun read.

Well, I need to finish Mokwa this week and grab this! One of the things I love about this series is that I feel like it was written for me. It wasn’t, except that I share a genre fandom and a few other elements of taste. But it feels...directed. With a lot of self-published fiction I end up thinking “if this part had a good editor, this might pass a real publisher.” With this series there was like one paragraph in the first book that raised that thought. Ever since that I’ve just thought “I wish more people had a chance to see this!”

Honestly I agree with the theory that Kyle’s birth name is Ben Organa and that Han took Leia’s last name but I disagree that it’s just because Alderaan is matriarchal, like, A. you’d better believe Han would’ve taken Leia’s last name no matter how patriarchal her culture was, and 2. Solo is the name of a notorious criminal with all sorts of bounties on his head, but Organa is a name associated with royalty, meaning Han could show up in sweatpants at any restaurant in the republic and get a table for Han and Chewie Organa without a reservation

Update: Siege Shockwave and Combiner Wars Shockwave can just barely pull this off. Without modifying CW Wave’s handle, he can only be held at weird angles. Still, you can do That One Thing From That One Episode.

also it’s literally fucking impossible to accurately say that you’re never attracted to non-binary people. every sexuality includes non-binary people because we aren’t a monolith.

you can be cishet and date a non-binary person. you can be gay and date a non-binary person. you can be gay AND a non-binary person. you can be bisexual and date a non-binary person.

non-binary just means “not binary”. that’s it. it doesn’t mean looking a certain way or acting a certain way and it’s not a third gender but a term for hundreds of gender experiences that are unique to each person. there’s very masculine non-binary people who use he/him and very feminine non-binary people who use she/her and people who present in masculine ways but identify more feminine or vice versa, or people who are completely unaligned and androgynous, or people who are aligned but use gender neutral pronouns or people who consider themselves non-binary men or non-binary women. non-binary gender experiences are historically common amongst lesbian, gay and bisexual communities, and genders outside the european binary have existed for centuries. claiming that you aren’t ever attracted to non-binary people is ridiculous and claiming that you need a certain sexuality to love us is incredibly ahistorical, homophobic, lesbophobic and biphobic.

Also weird that Studio Jetwing Prime is kinda compatible with Siege Jetfire’s blast effects but Studio Jetfire isn’t at all.

Also also that jetpack is in dire need of some filler pieces. I usually don’t care about hollows and gaps in Hasbro figures but...woof.
