This is basically a Final Fantasy XIV version of Kazuha's friend that I named Hyousuke Saito from Genshin Impact.

This use to be my Genshin Impact-Hyousuke blog until I gave him his own blog

I am a returning FFXIV player from 2015. I never got very far on the first character I made back on Hyperion. I never even made it to Heavensward. I mainly stopped playing because I got fed up with all the fetch quests and was pretty much disappointed in the end. I am aware that things get a lot better after ARR, so please kindly stop telling me that because I was told that so many times already but even before being told so, I already knew it would get a lot better. I just ran out of patience tbh. With that said, I'm very behind FFXIV content. I do not care for spoilers so feel free to spoil away.

In addition to bullet #3, I only own A Realm Reborn and Heavensward. Before I even started playing FFXIV, I'm a bit familiar with the lore since I use to write Thancred Waters in the past before Stormblood event existed. However I'm moreso familiar with the ARR-HW lore, but like I said, if I'm getting something wrong from the whole FFXIV lore, feel free to spoil me away as I do not care for spoilers.

I pretty much made this blog cuz I started playing FFXIV again and I didn't wanna flood my main blog with FFXIV content. So think of this blog as Hyousuke's FFXIV verse~

"Ello!" he replied in greeting. "I"m pretty impressed you can tell its me now that I'm all tall and sexy now." he patted the chair beside him. "Come and have a drink with me, Hyou~" he laughed and was clearly drunk but in a playful way.

"You wouldn't believe what happened to me. " he began to explain his venture down in some ruins, mistaking a legendary exliar that changes your body for some mere ancient wine, and how he is now taller with floofy ears.

"They kinda heavy, ya know but I"m gettin' used to it."

"Tall sure, but sexy er..." he ponders in thought, taking the offer to sit next to him. "I suppose I could put the sex appeal into consideration," he nervously chuckles, rubbing the back of his head. Funny enough that back in his home world the man was a bit known to be quite the charmer, although when the charms backfired he wasn't exactly sure how to take it. Unfortunately Hyousuke doesn't remember any of that however. "With the way you drink, it was a little simple for me to recognize you. The way you speak especially. And I think I'll pass on the drinks, but tank you for the offer," he lets out another nervous chuckle. "I would rather have a drink with someone who is still sober." He didn't mind having a few drinks once in a while nor did he mind if a couple of his comrades were a bit drunk, but... it was only these two right now. Hyousuke couldn't be the only one to drag this guy back home while being in a drunken state.

"Really? Viera ears being heavy?" He reaches for his own miqo'te ears. "I wouldn't be so sure about beast-like ears being heavy but perhaps it's only because I'm use to them as I believe I was born with them along with a tail." And now that Mordred had mentioned mistaking a mere elixir with some mere ancient wine, Hyousuke's raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms and looked at the man as if he may have been going crazy. Considering the fact that Mordred had transformed into a viera now though, surely he couldn't be lying whether he was in a drunken state or not.

"So let me get this straight. You went on some adventure into a dungeon all for one ancient wine, but instead you stumbled upon some sort of elixir and drank it without a second thought. You didn't have drinks beforehand, have you?"

Honestly the miqo'te ninja trainee was just minding his own business, diving into the warm water of the springs and happily blowing bubbles with his lips. Without much thought he happily swam around the springs nd soon finds himself bumping into somebody. Perhaps he was having a little too much fun in the hotsprings and he wasn't expecting anybody to come join him in Kugane's hotsprings.

"Oh?" He tilted his head in confusion. Shouldn't his miqo'te instincts have told him someone was going to probably join him? Hyousuke didn't think too much of it nor did he think too much of the stranger, but he sure was surprised at someone coming to join him.

"Uhhh..." he stuttered for a moment, staring at the man with the eyepatch. Wouldn't someone normally take those of if they were to bathe themselves? He wondered. Hyousuke wasn't all that great with his 'people skills', although back in Teyvat he had his strange way of words, but he couldn't remember anything from his life in Teyvat.

"My... name...?" he tilted his head again to the other side, now pondering in thought. What... was his name...? He had to think for a moment.

"Oh! Uh... Yotsuyu!" That... wasn't his name. He was trying to tell the other that a woman named Yotsuyu had given him a name. The wicked witch woman who found him laying on the grounds of Kugane and thought to test him of his skills. Unfortunately for the poor unfortunate miqo'te, while he had a worn tanto with him at the time, he simply lost the fight to the woman, yet for some unknown reason that woman decided to take him in as one of her apprentices in Doma and then he was mentored in the ninja arts and trained to become an assassin. Later he was then ordered by her to head back to Hingashi and look for a man by the name of Asahi and bring her to him. Unfortunately for Yotsuyu... this miqo'te ninja trainee didn't quite remember what his mission was. All he could remember was that he needed to be here in Kugane. But what for? Surely not just enjoying his tie in the hotsprings and then enjoying some hot tea.

Maybe I'm slow (which I am) and dumb, but my friend sent me and my bf a lore video about FFXIV, and my stupid ass thought that the world it takes place in was called Eorzea the entire time but it's actually Hydaelyn.
