Unfortunately, Whitney was quite badly traumatized as PC was slow to save him. But anyway, Whitney is very grateful to PC, to be honest, he didn't even expect that they would save him after everything he put them through. Constant bullying, humiliation, harassment, and attempts to sell them to UB… Despite everything, PC forgave Whitney and saved him. They are a real angel - Whitney thought. But in reality, PC wasn't such a noble altruist, they was out for revenge. They let Whitney fall to the very bottom of the city, so that all this crazy human filth would break him, turn him into fragments that PC would then collect and create something new, something submissive and meek.
Whitney lost his status and his friends, all he had left was PC, so he started clinging to them so desperately. He trusted PC. Even when they asked him to do something he was uncomfortable with, guilt, gratitude and fear of losing his only friend made him obey PC.
PC remembered all the humiliations that Whitney had subjected them to, so they decided to repeat them on the former bully. Walking a naked Whitney on a leash like a dog. Selling Whitney as a whore. Making Whitney steal stuff. Using Whitney as personal sex toy. And much more. Sure, at first, PC asked Whitney to do insignificant things, just small favors. But over time, their requests began to become more and more dirty and cruel.
When Whitney refused PC's demands, they would usually start pressuring and manipulating him. PC reminded Whitney of what a terrible person he used to be and how, despite that, PC risked their life to save him. And now Whitney refuses to do such a small thing for PC? He doesn't appreciate everything PC has done for him? He's not grateful to them? Maybe PC shouldn't have saved Whitney? Should PC leave Whitney alone?
Whitney would either immediately throwing himself at their feet and begging for forgiveness, or he would spend a couple of days alone, after which he would crawl crying to PC ready to fulfill their every wish. Traumatized Whitney desperately needed PC and so he was ready to do anything to be near them, not even realizing that they was abusing him. For Whitney, PC was the last person who had shown him kindness (or so he thought), so he couldn't lose them. The trauma he had endured made it impossible for him to think straight, PC knew it and took advantage of it.
Eventually, Whitney resigned himself to his role as PC's plaything and he even began to enjoy it. As long as he obeyed them, everything was fine. He just had to be a good slut for PC, that's all.
When I think about Cornelia's character, I often come to the conclusion that she is similar to Toriel: kind, caring, protective, and will bake you a pie lol. There are only three things that make her different from Tori: she's not such a big fan of snails, she's not such a big fan of jokes and puns, and she actually cares about others (she would never let Asgore kill people). I just wanted to draw Cornelia as Toriel, but... I had some ideas that I couldn't help but draw.

PC will have to work very, very hard to fix Whitney, because he will be severely traumatized after returning from UB and will have a hard time trusting anyone. Especially PC, because they were his main victim before, so why would they help him now? Most likely, to mock him or gain his trust while he is vulnerable, and stab him in the back - that's what Whitney will think.
After what he went through, he can't trust the genuine kindness of others so easily. But, nothing is impossible.
