So, as i finally played through the Fallen Order, my obsession with another ginger character started, here are some ideas on how it might look like in this AU
P.S. I haven’t played Survival yet, possibly, so it is set vaguely during the first game and between it and the second one. Just imagine if we had more missions and planets to explore during the Fallen Order.
- The idea that the Force guides Jedi on their path was tought to Cal Kestis from the early age so I believe that opposite to most game characters, he might accept players existance much faster. Of course, in the beginning he will most likely be a bit confused upon becoming self-aware, but never actually openly hostile to the feeling of guidance from you.
- At first, he started assuming that it is really how the connection with the Force should be. After all, he has spend several years severed from it and as his last memories connected to the life of a Jedi’s apprentice were quite painful to say the least - he might just write it up as his mind not exactly recalling the feeling of a comforting presence within the Force.
- In his mind the player is connected to the Force no question in it as the strongest feeling of this presence he gets during those meditations in the places of Force.
- As a person who lost everyone and everything he knew in one moment, Cal sticks me as a person who will get fiercely attached to the people he knows - to the Mants crew, BD… well and now you, a gently guiding presence accompanying on his many missions.
- Cal asks Mantis crew if they also can feel you, player, in some way:
- Greeze just shrugged his shoulders and chuckles it all to “Jedi being Jedi”. As he … back to the cockpits ginger hears .. of phrases about the weird space magic and how this presence better not creep over him while he sleeps or is in the showers.
- Merlin (if she is part of the crew at this point) is less concerned with the mystery of you. Partially, that’s because of her upbringing as a night sister - she has read lots of ancient scrolls on different outworld entities and beings surpassing her peoples viewing of the world so the possibility of a player existing on a different place of existence is possible in her opinion. But partially, this might be just Merrin being herself.
- Cere is a bit baffled after her conversation with the young Jedi. She does not remember having any similar experience wielding the Force in her younger years. But at the same time she can’t say that she ever heard Siths having something similar on their dark path. But again she cannot say much to Cal except warn him to be on guard with this presence and as she stepped away from the paths of the Force herself long ago.
- Cal might get a bit defensive on your behalf from her warnings. After all, how can you be malicious when you help him so much!

Anyway, as usual - wanted to prop all the prompts in advance but started on the first day like always, so hopefully it will not suck too much. Also haven't written in years, so it will be rusty

"Magnets!"
You lifted your gaze to look across the table. Jimmy was sitting right across from you on the summer veranda, his lunch in front of him, one hand frozen mid bite between the plate and his mouth as the other pointed an accusatory finger right at your chest.
During those hot summer months all Daily Planet seemed to flock outside to enjoy a bit of fresh air outside of the stuffy cubic filled rooms. So you considered yourself lucky to get a table in the corner of the veranda a bit under the tree cover from the soon-to-be-scorching summer sun.
"Pardon?"
"Magnets, of course! That's what you are!" He joyfully hummed getting another bit from over-dripping with mustard hotdog.
"Care to explain what're you babbling about? What magnets? Last time I checked arts and crafts wasn't your column, nor was science."
Speaking of columns your thoughts automatically turned to a certain journalist not present at the moment. Not intentionally tuning out Jimmy but also not particularly interested in this - whatever Jimmy was hyper-fixated at the moment. Over the years you knew each other Jimmy's particular way of jumping from topic to topic became somewhat of a comfortable noise.
"You and Clark, of course!" That brought you out of daydreaming.
Jimmy's face broke into a teasing I-know-something smile, "Ok-ok listen, just listen! You two are exactly like magnets. Only you show up he is immediately gravitated to the same area of the office." You shot him a look of a doubt before shifting attention to your own sandwich.
"You are exaggerating, Jim. It's not like that. He likes talking to everyone. Clark just sees me as his friendly coworker."
"Aha, yeah, and I'm Superman then. You can ask Lois, she'll second my words. Though she is leaning more to the glue or gum analogy. Not as poetic I would say."
"Don't rope innocent people into your speculations."
"We are talking about the same Lois?"
"Ok, fair, still don't involve her."
"Don't need if the proof is coming my way himself." Jimmy smugly concludes as his eyes linger on something behind you.
You turn just in time to see Clark hurriedly navigating through the lunch tables to you. His tie slightly askew, glasses leaning to one side as the oh so handsome face (like, seriously, how beautiful this man can be on a regular Tuesday? you'll probably never cease to wonder) is graced wit the soft shy smile.
"Oh, hey, guys, ming if I join? Was so caught up with finishing the draft on the latest city report! The time flies! Oh, and can you imagine Perry was again so adamant..." His usual rambling continued as he carefully slipped on the bench next to you. "Oh, by the way, your favourite!" He excitedly places the seemingly cold can of your (indeed, favourite) soda in front of you, "Snatched the last one, can you imagine?!"
And again he towers over you with this brilliant proud smile as if it made his day to be of service for you just like that.
"Magneeets" - Jimmy hummed shooting you a wink before digging into his lunch with the sound of a starved man.
"Magnets, huh? Seems indeed rather fitting, don't you think?"
In the safety of your apartment Clark Kent threw all ostentatious secrecy out of the metaphorical window as he secures his favourite spot behind you while you investigate the fridge for the late night snacks. His hands landing on your waist, shin propped on your shoulder.
"You do know the meaning of "secret relationship" right, Clark?" Still corners of your lips lift slightly in a smile as the man hums softly into your hair.
"Are you really blaming me now? After I brought you your favourite refresher of the day?"
"Oh of course not, my noble knight" You turn to face him still caged in the warm embrace "Just surprised that you still can keep Super-you hidden".
He chuckles breathlessly before leaning in for a warm soft and so Clark-like kiss.
