hello miss taylor!! mini life update cause a lot has changed for me since we last talked💘 last fall i started my freshman year of high school, and it’s been a lot, to say the least. i lost a lot of friends who just weren’t good for me to be around, but i’ve also became much closer with a couple people who mean so much to me, and love me for me, which is the best feeling. you probably don’t remeber this, but when we talked back in august (🥺) i mentioned that i was about to start learning piano, and you were giving me some tips. it’s been three months now and playing piano has brought me so much joy, especially in the past two weeks, i’ve been playing and writing songs on guitar and piano for hours a day. lastly (but definitely most importantly) my mental health is at the best it’s been in a long time. i’m starting to have less bad days, and i’ve really been working on accepting the way i look rather than tearing myself down over every imperfection. i also wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done to help those affected by the pandemic. thank you for being a source of light in these dark times, thank you for being a constant source of happiness in my life, and thank you for being there for me the past 10 years. hope you’re doing okay, sending you hugs!! love you so soso sooooo much taylor, always standing by your side <3

I’ve been struggling a lot since I got this letter from work saying that starting tomorrow I will be on lay-off and I’m so scared and stressed about it.

I’ve been working since I was 15 years old, trying to help my mom with all the expenses at our house since my dad died when I was 7. She lives in Mexico, she is diabetic and unfortunately the situation with their government is terrible and it scares me so much to be so far away and not even being able to keep helping her with money to buy whatever she needs to stay stable and not having to be out exposing herself because there’s no other income at her house right now.

Being far away from her and my whole family isn’t really easy. I’ve been away for quite some years and I’m the only one that was able to help with something, but starting tomorrow I won’t have any income but those $1,200 the government will provide (if I qualify). I’m posting this for the 3rd time because I feel so embarrassed/bad about this. I’ve never been in a situation like this because since I started working at a young age I learned I had to keep going so I wouldn’t have to suffer or be in situations where I didn’t have not even money to pay bills. So here I am one more time asking for help. Asking for help for my mother who’s also desperate locked in at her house in México. I’m sorry for the inconvenience I can cause, that is the last thing I want to cause so I apologize for it.

@taylorswift If you ever see this. I just want to say that I love you so much and that your music is what is helping me to take that stress of my head and shoulders. I know people out there could be in worst situations, and I pray for them as well because no one deserves a single thing that is currently happening.
