You can enjoy the fluffy texture of this vegan naan with soups or curries, or you can eat it by itself!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup plain dairy-free yogurt. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 tablespoon maple syrup. 1/4 cup water plus more as needed.
Instructions: Put flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix them together. Sour cream, olive oil, and maple syrup should be added. Mix well. As you knead the dough, add water little by little until it forms a soft, smooth ball. Put a clean kitchen towel over the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes. Split the dough into six equal pieces. Make a ball out of each piece. Spread each ball out on a floured surface and roll it into an oval shape. Warm up a nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Put one naan in the pan and cook it for two to three minutes, until bubbles start to form. As soon as you flip the naan, it will start to get golden brown spots. Do it again with the rest of the dough. Warm it up and eat it with your favorite soup or curry!
