one of my favorite parts in my relationship is the support. If either of us are especially busy, we don’t try to steal any time or try to distract the other for selfish reasons. We know when it’s time for space and just allowing the other to focus on his/her work. I love that because it’s been teaching me to be patient and appreciative. I know a bunch of people who hate that. I get it - I love having his attention. But a relationship is also a support system. I think I’ve been exceptionally lucky and I never knew of it.
