Okay so yknow how Smelling is just like, wireless tasting? Like at one point God was like ‘what if I gave The Things an extra face hole so they could taste where food was from the convienience of their location?’ And then she made what is,essentially, a second, shitter mouth, like it literally does the breathing thing too, but instead of giving it cool teeth and lips she was like ‘ I want this to be an All The Time Sense orrifice like the sound catchers and the light jelly, so I can’t let the second, shittier mouth ever close, but to get the food smells you have to be open to danger smells and maybe viruses, so I gotta do something about that’ And then she, in her infinite tomfoolery, was like ‘hey what if I just fill that fucker full of snot? What if I just move all the stomach lining up a bit and fill the Entire Face Of EverythingThat Lives with fucking snot?’ And that’s what she fucking did and it’s the reason that I, personally, have a headache.
