So fun fact : Metal Knux’s Dreads , Claws and chest crest are all made from the same loop . The loop changes through each design thus each of these three pieces change .  this loop is the base of the dreads , top of the claws and center of the crest

Chapter 13 : Betrayal Saves The Mad [pt.2]

|” This isn’t going to go over well” | , ‘Pff, it might not go over at all depending on who’s side they’re on’, |” th-tha-that’s exactly what I’m worried about Sir”| [Walls of concrete covered over by computers and computer monitors , a blue hue casting over the room from the screens. G.U.N logo plastered on every piece of equipment and finally on a clip board quickly snatched up and opened.]  ‘ We have to get to it and get it shut down, Omega only has passing interest in the other E-100′s , I would much rather let E-104 Epsilon ‘return’ than letting Omega find it in our possession’  |”That seems a bit , optimistic, Do you mean this was planned? That’s...not your style.”| ‘And exactly what would you say Is my style? We have to save mobius and it’s people , if this is what it takes I’m fine with that. I didn’t join G.U.N to become a puppet and besides , Saving the planet saves G.U.N , I’m just not doing so in a way that gives them full control. ..now...is there a issue with that?’  |”No sir ..”| ‘Good , now what is this mess? These reports say Mushroom hill is under attack? I thought we had re-established control with the Tribes help out there and taken out the closest Eggman Empire bases.’  |” We did but it seems something tipped off a different faction of swat bots and a metal sonic unit was spotted in the area, Delta Team Hollow is holding them back but they won’t withstand and direct attack from metal sonic” | ‘....Send Delta Team Cryptic , all of them , as back up. Arnold can fend for himself with his remaining forces until we’ve driven them back. And tell Cryptic’s new recruit that ‘lone wolf tactics’ will not gain him any favors.’  [It’s pitch black now , to lines of late evening sun light pierce through the bottom and top of this view point , The rattling of a lock moving and clash of it hitting the cement can be heard as light comes pouring into the container , A orange chassis sits leaned against the side of the container . E-104 visibly painted on it , The bots head sits off to the side on the floor. A set of gears turning can be heard and a white light fills the container.]  E-102 : Gamma has located the unit. E-104 Epsilon is in need of repairs .” {’ Look it over Gamma , I need a list of damages , we need to get Epsilon back online as soon as possible’}  E-102: Chest cavity has sustained two major contusions , one on front left upper torso , one on lower right rear . Unit’s left arm missing. Right gun damaged beyond repair . Head intact , removed from chassis , Legs intact , removed from chassis . Front exhaust belt pipe multiple damages. Hover unit ..not found”  [Beta and ------- land outside the container as Gamma finishes it’s list , The two join Gamma inside the container.]  {’Good work Gamma , well at least the head is intact this will be a lot easier to get working again then you two were. Beta Can you hook up a power line to Epsilon’s head, Power only.’} -Beta nods and pulls a cord from under a panel on it’s side hooking it to Epsilon’s head-  {’Alright , Wake up Epsilon! we got work to do!’}  E-104 : Unit damage critical , Voice Command not recognized , voice origin recognized , Commands not recognized , ....-zzzztch- ...Commander not Dr. Ivo Robotnik “  {”-sigh- .... Dr. Ivo Robotnik deceased , Requesting over-ride command , Zero zero one five nine one eight one zero zero two nine zero......please be right , please be right ...please”}  E-104 : Command recognized , Requesting new command”  {” Hell Yeah! , request Full damage report , Request self-sortment for ‘brain’ transfer , Requesting confirmation’ ,  ‘ we seriously need to get you guys to at least Omega’s level of speech this is getting old’}  E-104 : Request granted , Request denied , Request granted.  E-104 Epsilon has sustained damage to main communications circut board , code line for memory transfer not possible without repairs.”  {’ Oh for the love of .....fine. Beta , Air lift Epsilon to the workshop . Gamma load weapon and follow me. We’re going to go collect some spare parts from some unwilling participants.’ }

Chapter 13 : Betrayal Saves The Mad

--[ please keep in mind these are all early unfinished versions of the script , leaving names and information out is to avoid sticking to ideas instead of plot development , thank you]--  "And so your plan is to what , exactly?!?, Open the quarantine line to go after something that may not even be in there ?!?!"

'If that's what it takes that's what it takes'

" I'm not...WE'RE NOT-" {' Might I jump in here a moment?'}

"Better then throwing this conversation back and forth I guess" 'really?' , "I don't want to hear that from you!" {'We can't go sending anyone in there , it's to early . but what if we went 'something' instead?'}

"He'd never agree , not alone , he'd find the task menial anyway" ' I agree , E-123 Omega sooner shoot us then take on a task like this.' {' But something else is out there waiting for a chance to get in.'}

"So What Now we're supposed to just wave a giant COME F@#$ US FLAG?!" , '....' {' in a sense'} "Sense!? Sense seems to be the only thing lacking around here lately! , if 0.3 gets in there , there is no telling what it will do or how much it has to gain from it!"

'but.' "NO! , no buts! , Also it be a huge welcome home beacon for it and it's copies! and they aren't organic . Not to mention we can't contain them in there! that's not how the dome was designed!"

'But Omega would happily chase 0.3 and it's army in and take our mission objective without hesitation then..' {' Precisely '}

{' hmmmm...'} , "Oh what's that now doubting your own plan" {' No , but ...do we have any E-100 unit chassis lying around?'} 'oh . right . I think so.' , " What are you two getting at what did I just miss?"

'If we send Omega in it's body will just absorb radiation' , {'So when it comes out it be useless, But if we make or put it in a spare we can transfer it without any risk'}

"Now you want to try to convince the self-proclaimed 'killing machine!' 'superior being' , To transfer bodies. This is insane! Even temporarily Omega would never agree.... We'll ...talk of this more later." ( exits the room in a hurry looking at phone )

'E-104 Epsilon is in a storage container on the base in Oil Ocean Zone....But I get the feeling you already knew that.' {' I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been keeping a eye on it , yes , So is that a all clear?' } 'If you don't say anything , I didn't see anything. The west gate team knows to expect Omega use the information however you like. What are you after anyway?'

{' Suppose I said I just want to go home , would that answer your question?'} ' You lived in there?!' {' no'} 'Then no. better get moving' { 'tch , heheh fair enough.' }

[ Dusk is setting, rain ever so lightly pelts everything here as it falls , the sun is still blinding on the horizon reflecting in a deep burning orange across the surface of a black expanse of onyx liquid. Oil ocean. ]

{' Gamma , Meet me at the docks of G.U.N HQ in oil ocean , We're taking E-104 epsilon out of retirement ' }

E-[102] : Confirmed , signal E-101 beta as well for pick up and extraction?"

The difference

Arrogance : All these people online doing renders , That’s cute , now try making the whole thing from scratch.  Criticism : The Renders nice , that hues in your lighting really capture a life like feel , But maybe creating something of your own to go in it be nice next time.  Rude : Why don’t you actually make some of your own damn work!  Superiority complex : This would of been much better if you had used this [shader name] and multiplied your light source’s color saturation value , basic mistake.  Full retard : Wow look you just copied someone’s work and colored over it in photoshop  , anyone can do this .  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While I personally make my own models , I wanted to make this post as it’s something I hear pretty often about people doing renders .  You think it’s easy but it really isn’t by any means , Even making my own stuff from time to time i do wish i had bought one of the blender add-ons that were filled with other artists pre-made lighting set ups.  Something as simple as getting a true sunset look to a small country side scene can take hours , Maybe even days if you really want it to glow off the characters correctly . because then you have to modify their textures / materials values as well as the lighting .  then there’s the run time for renders as well . Not everyone is doing renders on suprreme high end machines that finish in under 2min. Even after all that’s done the finall render is usually a massively revised version because each time a render completes you find new issues ,  maybe its slight  changing the color of items in the scene . Maybe it’s casting a shadow you don’t wan’t , maybe it’s simply to bright and thus the full effect of the back ground or surrounding items are lost to the light.  What’s really sad is it’s some of my friends who do animation or modeling like I do that have said these things.  For what it’s worth to those of you who say such things , I really hope you never get recruited for any sort of group/ team project , because your attitude fucking sucks .  EVEN if by chance you were better at it then another person , dismissing the work just because you feel likes it’s less then you , is down right disgusting .  I for example hate basic drawings done with crayon or strong armed lines that don’t flow with the full picture . So when those things come up i just keep my mouth shut and move on , it’s not that hard . I mean sure I’d speak up if someones weeks or months of hard work were put out by someone else doing 10 min of work .  But this petty crap where there’s a need to insult something unrelated to you or your own work or skills . it’s just sickening. Now for sake of me expressing my own views on this , I believe in team work and team efforts even though I work solo , I do personally get tired of a large amount of fan work , only being renders and not actual full pieces but i’d sooner try to invite someone to talk and see if i could encourage them to make something of their own or teach them how , instead of just toss them under the bus. I don’t fully understand all aspects of a good render yet myself so it be nice to learn off someone while teaching them something as well.  But hey that’s just me .

A walk in my shoes

So yes as knux helped me talk about We are in fact creating a sim on second life with the direct intention of making a community.  I feel though that I should explain a few things including why i would hit at this well over a year ago here and through knux and then go silent until now.  See a project of this size can’t exactly been done alone and while I wish there was some secret code to get the computer to do it for me that isn’t how it works . Trust me even if it did you wouldn’t want use it that way because it become boring and unmanageable very quickly.  Building a team is important and something a lot of people do wrong including myself is build a team out of friends and then give them power.  While I did build my team out of friends I had the past experience to know in advance the down fall of giving them power .  Having worked in such a situation before myself.  In a community either everyone should be heard or no-one should be heard and that is how power should be held using common sense over all . But you can never predict people and sometimes even the simplest of processes prove to be far to much for them. Such as simply showing up.  I ended building most the place on my own over the past 4 months as before hand i had only been building when my friends were around to be able to help them and have company while I worked. I waited almost a year before I finally had no choice but to move forward without them.  As i finally got my feet on the ground two other friends stepped in and started helping me make things beyond my own abilities to help make the sim run smoothly . While there is still a ton of work to be done having them around has made the process so much smoother and faster.  But I’ll admit I have to take time off now and then to try to relax . The sad reality being that I myself become wildly aggressive at times when working as I realize that once again the people who said they aimed to help me accomplish this have once again abandon me. Something I am far to used to by now. The reason it burns me so much is because of who they are and what they mean to me. These are people who I met through this program and community, teachers who taught me SL and friends who have helped me in the darkest of times. They are people with who I thought I could trust to see the same image I did as at the start they encouraged me and wanted me to open before it was ready.  Their excitement fueled me and helped me move forward and build in a new and better way then i had in the past .  But time after time I’m given a excuse for their absence, and after standing by them for so long the last two times they contacted me first was merely to yell at me and cut me down for things that they misunderstood. One going as far as to tell me I need to act like a ‘real friend’ even though they never reach out to me. It be great if this was the first time ...but it honestly isn’t and they are not the first ones . I originally worked with another person for five years at one point he all but removed me from his life because or a argument that didn’t involve him. and at the end he had booted me aside without a word to follow his own path . something that once talked out i understood better and we continued to be great friends.  But I continue , whether anyone cares or not , whether any of them show or not because to me it is more important to give back and give to others . On second life i was welcomed into the sonic community and given countless chances and teachers . I was betrayed , i was made a enemy of , but people who i still believe had no right or reason to listen to me did. They made me a admin , they taught me how to build better . They taught me Blender and introduced me to other leaders of the community and other teachers.  I was a nobody with no talent and no social skills to speak of , just a burning passion for 3d arts and building.  By the time i left to take a year off to study blender i still felt that I had stayed in the shadows enough to be a no-body.  But my return was welcomed and my hesitation to return was torn to shreds by a community who was happy to see me back and who said if anyone could revive hope it would be me . I was told how  much i had helped others and how good it was to see me back , all this while simply coming back and looking for a place to start again , before i even had a sim again.  I’ve been beaten , betrayed , walked on , and put down so many times. But i get up I start again and i keep on marching forward because i need to.  I know someone out there needs this I know someone out there is suffering and looking for a place to just come be with friends.  I know someone out there is alone and believes it won’t get better and just needs a brake from the insanity of life.  I do this for the fans , i do this to pay back a community that gave me everything for nothing , i do this for the people who helped me stand when i was being cut down.  But more then anything else , I do this so that I’ll never have to wake up knowing that I could have reached out and didn’t. I know what the bottom looks like I took the leap and I fell listening to that silence that grabs you and makes you know that you are nothing. I let it win but it failed ....and while i recovered physically , mentally i killed that monster with the help of a stranger who decided she just wanted me to get better because she wanted to.  You wouldn’t believe what small thing you do that can change a life forever. For now a community and a home is the best thing that I can offer. So now matter how many times someone , friend or stranger , kicks me down , I get up and keep walking . Because that howling echoing dark void that promises such a relief is a cruel lie that I would do everything and anything to stop from taking one more person away from this world and those who still care for them.

AU/AT

AU/AT The story begins as the last of the heroes , Tails, Story ends. The eggman empire leaves behind a giant city called Robotropolis and it is filled with badniks, swatbots , and a large amount of undestroyed projects that were never used or being rebuilt. These machines blindly march on trying to claim the rest of the planet in the name of the eggman empire , A final order from the dying days of Robotnik . His swat bot army works its way into the wild capturing new woodland creatures to serve as host for more badniks each day , factories set over to automatically create a arsenal so long as there are creatures to be used for one. Three separate versions of Metal Sonic also roam planet mobius . Two of their own plans and one still loyal to the late doctor. They are , Neo , 0.3 and Metal Sonic. The eggman empire still holds a vast power over mobius in these units alone. Tails has created a new group of freedom fighters that come from all over the planet , the original freedom fighters disbanded years earlier when the Eggman empire fell silent for the last three years of eggmans life.  Freedom fighters consist of Humans , Mobians both normal citizens and from some of the tribes the remains and a small faction from G.U.N. G.U.N run by General Shepard believes that they should be the ones to form a global government and rule over the planet. Not all soldiers nor higher ups agree but the bigger problem at hand still remains their focus , destroying the Eggman empire. G.U.N having captured Snivley in previous attacks on Robotropolis believes they have the upper hand .Snivley having not much choice in the matter agrees to help G.U.N take down his uncles empier. What more could he ask for after trading one prison for another ? Years pass with steady but slow progress , G.U.N has made it into the under ground of Robotropolis and with Snivley beside them has started taking out the generators running out stretched ends of the city. Freedom Fighters manage to take down Neo Metal Sonic in a unlikely partnership with 0.3 who's only true aid to them is his active fight with Neo Metal Sonic. Their victory leaves no time for rest though as 0.3 steals the remains of Neo and proceeds to attack them before fleeing. The small faction of G.U.N working with the freedom fighters manages to reclaim South Island , oil ocean, Metal Harbor and rescue city square from it's flooded remains after Angle Island is dropped into ocean by Metal sonic breaking the master emerald and stealing two chaos emeralds during a attempt by G.U.N to claim the Island and it's powers a few years earlier. After the recovery of south island a group of Freedom Fighters form a HQ there to recruit new members and help with further reducing the reach of Robotropolis, Following close behind this , Snivley is assigned to a large group of GUN Soldiers that have reached the core generator located in the heart of the cities underground. In secrecy Snivley sets the core to critical and rushes to alert select groups of the danger escaping with them. The fall out turns thirty to forty percent of the city into a scar on the face of the planet, causing mass casualties and injuries , but most importantly acting as a EMP taking down GUN communications and all bots caught in the blast.   And so the story begins of a world and it's people in their fight to recover a planet without it's heroes.

Are you a artist or a liar?

I see it in forums , I see it here on tumblr , and DA and FA and youtube and EVERYWHERE! Why are you doubting yourselves?  We make art so others can enjoy our work.  But if that’s it , if that is all you are doing this for. Then quit! I don’t do all of this ‘JUST’ because it will make them happy, I started all of this because it was something I enjoyed , when others take notice that makes it even better , but do not even for a second think that I would not continue on my own without the support of others.  I make a bunch of things I never share and not because I’m hiding them or their adult content , but because I made them for the sake of making them for the fun of it , because it is what I enjoy. A artist lives through their work, do you know why people like art so much?. why it’s called a expression of one’s self ?  A artist is someone who does that and takes it to heart , they are expressing themselves , they are making something they really want to.  If you’re having doubts but continuing anyway , You are lying , to yourself , to the people who follow your work , and to those who enjoy it and eventually you’ll give up because of it and it will burn you out.   and you can go years without making something, yes YEARS, art is a extension of us , its a way to express and relax.  Put the shovel down! , climb out of the whole you dug , do something you enjoy , go relax , take time for your life and for yourself and stop burning yourself out on trying to please a audience who realistically is only paying attention half the time if that.
