”So the thing about magic is everyone can learn it. Magic is logical. It follows patterns, and we as intelligent beings are able to recognize them. I guess it becomes easier if you’re born a natural. That counts for basically everything, right. I suppose not everyone becomes a great magician, I included. To be fair when I’m told, that magic is science, I cringe. Because there is one very defining point, that separate the two. I’m not sure how to phrase this, ‘cause I’m no scientist – or magician for that sake. You see, I trust science, ‘cause I see the patterns, I understand the theory and I can make it work in practice. Well, the same counts for magic; however what magic lacks is certainty. It will always be veiled in mysteries, and I’m damn sure y’all like it that way. I do not trust magic, I don’t even trust it when I myself wield it – ‘cause there’ll always be exceptions. I get the patterns right, I get the theory, I get the practice – boom! And everything’s wrong.”
