#imo he’s younger than it seems like he should be #the timeline of in trousers is pretty unclear but it seems like he meets Trina shortly after high school #I always thought Trina got pregnant at 19 or 20 and he is the way that he is because he never had those years of early adulthood #to mature and know himself #and I think that’s the way that that part of his story works best but it would make him like barely 30 at the start of Falsettos #which absolutely kind of seems wrong but I do think it makes the most sense #also also it seems most likely that he would have been born 1945-1950 #I’ve thought about this frequently and in much depth
