"Oh, hello there, do come in and have a seat while I spin you a review on an ancient video game known as Clive Barker's Jericho, a game that used too much blood in such a small space that the Chuck-e-cheese ticket blaster would seem as spacious as the world's fair"

"About that, the gore was a little too overdone for my tastes, and I believe that unless you have an insatiable need to look at blood that appeared someone had spilled the Mio you get sick of the overuse, Now, the funny thing about this is you have to be pretty close up am I right? well, I hope your ready for this, because it appears a lot of the game is centered around very tight corridors and cramped spaces so you can see all the hard work these game designers put into it."
"The gameplay is fairly decent, with a pretty good system, except for the fact the guns you use tend to exist in the ranged world, don't get me wrong, it's cool to shoot, uh, gladiator look-a-likes and pretend your wiping out Rome however, what it has done has already been done, much better in fact, Darkest of Days put that scene on the map, and to that extent, it realized that for mini-guns, rifles, and sniper rifles to be useful you have to give them range, Also, I did hate it when they restricted or separated certain characters into groups, it had appeared that they wanted to restrict you from accessing the other characters, at some points that was great, at others, not so much. It felt like it was just an upgraded children's game where it was made up of several eerily similar little challenges, therefore restricting you to certain characters for basically the entire game, Also I will note that the world war II section felt way off how they were just giant blobs, It felt like just a big shoot them till they fall down but watch out cause they are heavy hitters motif"
"The story is pretty good, Though a little strange, but hey, that's the game isn't it? anywho, back on topic, It's best summarized by the British member encountered in the World war II level, as a Russian Nesting Doll, everytime the evil entity was sealed away it was take both the town and the team with it into it's domain, clearly this thing had a thing for Mio and spaghetti, you and your team try to go into the domain to once again seal them away, however, you yourself are dead, but brought back to life and you can switch between the characters or team mates you have, well, when the game allows it, I wish there was more Character development I mean regardless of religious belief I expected at least the biggest change would be a character becoming more faith bound or wishing for hope, but it seemed for robotic than it did actual feeling, Don't get me wrong, I understand they were trained for it, well, some of it to that extent, but I don't think they were prepared for such a twisting nightmare, and I found myself asking then and now how you couldn't be faith driven if it's folding out right in front of you that this evil creature does exist and was an enemy/slash creation of the good entity. But, I did enjoy the semi antagonist killing the main bad guy at the end, albeit because of a betrayal. But here is where things get a bit annoying, the ending, which said nothing and had that child singing, honestly after two minutes of the short cycle I wanted to just change the channel and wait for it to be over, however, at that time I was conscious of post-credits cutscenes and thought I could find my ending cutscene explanation there, sadly, it was just back to the main menu to look at rotting flesh."
"So, that brings me to my conclusion, It's an alright game that really should've went with a different material and maybe some rooms that are bigger and allow more room, that and more character development and less doom considering how this game has a story it needs to tell. though the game has these much needed adressed factors, otherwise it's a very good concept, though brief, yet lengthy with it's repetitious enemies and monotony."
