Why must the seasons pass?

the feeling of seeing the route you always take when you go home from school is a weird feeling. it isn't the weirdest feeling you've ever felt, but it's still really weird. especially when you get that sudden (but not really. you know it's been haunting you for the past year and will continue to haunt you until you graduate) realization that your life will not revolve around the same route forever. that you will not conveniently take that same jeepney that only charges you 10 pesos instead of the usual 11 pesos, and that you will not always have someone to go home with after the stress of a school day that felt too long. i think it's really weird, and i think it's really strange, that this can't last forever.

i've always had an unusual relationship with change. staying stagnant makes me squirm. to break free, to do something, anything, just to rid of the feeling of standing too still. but avoiding change is comforting, stable, reassuring.

as i think about change, i think of three characters; tamamori from hashihime of the old book town, erich from the heart of thomas, and lastly, fushi from to you, the immortal.

as i let the days pass, i wonder, will i ever find comfort in the future as much as i find comfort in the past and in the present?

HETALIA: PANGEA EXPLOSION - LORE SUMMARY

so I've finally got around to making a rough major summary of my au! I tried to explain everything as clearly as I could, there will most likely be future iterations of the doc as I plan to make character profiles and plot outlines etc. So this is, like, version 1 of the document. :)

what do you think the mochis are like in pangea universe? （ ∂ ω ∂ )

They are the hetaloids/flesh beasts' soul. If it's destroyed, they 'fully' die, as opposed to if their skull heart was destroyed, which causes them to revert back into a flesh beast. Additionally, Pictonians hunt the mochi... its kinda like the 'pearl' of a flesh beast and a very powerful energy source. When a hetaloid or baby homunculus fuses with a human, the mochi resides in the skull heart. For their flesh beast form, it just floats around in their body.

If their skull heart gets destroyed, their human body dies, as well when they fused with a human their personality is tied to the human brain that they fuse with, this causes their flesh beast form to be mindless when they are reverted — essentially, their fusion with humanity is permanent if they want to keep their personality and mind — note that they already have their personality and minds as a flesh beast beforehand, It's that when they fuse with a human their mind fuses with human brain matter, their mind is implanted onto the scaffolding of their human victims brain (their mind taking the place of the humans): so when that dies so does their mind.

Also for how the mochi act, they kinda just exist lol, not like canon where they have personalities... just a weird blob with a face that doesn't say or do anything.
