My video is finally working! YAYZ!
Sorry that I am so awkward.
Maintaining more than one blog is totally beyond me so from now on I will be posting EVERYTHING on my main blog. Just letting y'all know :)
What kids should REALLY be eating!
I get so fired up when I see parents of children under 5 years feeding their children candy or processed icecream or anything else which has ZERO nutritional value. And the excuse is always ‘it’s their treat for the week’ - quite frankly, children’s palettes are not yet experienced enough for them to think ‘I’ve been good, so I feel like eating the Happy Meal that I’m craving’. IF parents would just train their children to recognize vibrant, colourful, nutrition-packed fruits and veggies as ‘treats’, then imagine how healthy we’ll all grow up to be?
I do not take credit for the photos above, as I’d found them online, but I just LOVE this idea. It looks like a mini rainbow artwork in an ice cube tray! How appealing does it look! I don’t have kids myself yet, so let me as you all a favour if you have kids - Please give this idea a go - even if your kids are a bit older - aesthetically pleasing food is always more fun to eat!
Sincerely, Nella from Healthysnax.

I wanted to talk about one of my favorite “products”. All natural, organic coconut oil. It’s amazing for your body. Coconut oil is what I recommend clients of mine with extraordinarily dry skin. Coconut oil has a wealth of skin benefits, can be found in your local health food store for around $8,...
I feel like I've been really slack with my health in the past few weeks
I haven't been blogging enough and haven't been tracking my intake or weight. I even resorted to eating meat a couple of times, just because I was too lazy to make my own dinner!
I really want to get out of this pattern of unmotivated, negative thoughts, and get back on track with the veganism and the exercise. I'm really focusing on studying at the moment (my HSC is in 2 weeks!!!!) but I don't see that as an excuse for neglecting my health... if anything the rigidity of a study timetable should allow me to really structure my workouts and eating.
In other news, I am pretty darn happy about the other aspects of life right now. My best friend left for Romania last week and even though its been hard not seeing her on a daily basis and talking to her about everything and anything, I feel like I am handling it really well. Plus we still have email!
With Aleesia's departure, Jake and I have become particularly close and its awesome because I've never felt so comfortable around a guy before. I mean, we're not dating or anything, and I doubt we ever will, but its just lovely to have someone to talk to and cuddle and make out with. And he's funny! He really makes me laugh. I hate it when people get all serious and passionate and overly sexual, but when Jake and I are making out he'll randomly pull some stupid face and its great because the mood just drifts into that casual, fun zone. Last night he came to my house for a sleepover and we watched some terrible movies and drank tequila and ate mi goreng and it was just so nice.
Oh and my skin is looking fab and clear and tanned, and my hair is all shiny and nice. I've been using coconut oil for everything beauty related and it is just the most wonderful thing.
Anyways, have a lovely day!
xx
