Revert to old tumblr customize

Do you miss the old tumblr format to edit your themes/ profile?

Have no fear because it's really easy just click (for primary blog)

Or if you want to edit a secondary blog just replace "USER-NAME-HERE" with the tumblr name.

Drop down menu with a go button

Copy the code below and paste it where you want the menu to appear.

This is what the code means which can be edited.

Pink - the "GO" button Blue - The title it'll appear as Purple - if people click on the Go it'll take them to that link

Just play around and it'll make sense to you :)

Tumblr cloud

So how do you get a Tumblr Cloud e.g.

Go to this site. Make sure you're logged in your Tumblr (Don't worry it's safe)

Click "Generate my Cloud".

A window should pop up and pick the blog you want to generate the cloud.

Wala you should be able to view it and there is also an option to post it onto your Tumblr :)

Useful programs

Here are a list of programs I personally find useful, this will be updated a lot.

Free programs

Missing e - This with Tumblr makes the experience so much better! It's compatible with Firefox, Chrome and Safari. It use to have the Unfollow Checker but they got rid of it but it's got so many functions too!

Notepad2 - I love this, it makes coding so easy. It makes the codes stand out and clear because it's in colour. Totally recommend it.

Jasc Animation shop 3 - I use to use this along with Corel PSP because PSP doesn't have an animation program and this is really helpful, simple and easy to use. It's actually paid but for some reason this one is free. Totally safe because I used the exact link to download mine.

Paid programs

Adobe photoshop CS5 - I've been using this program for so long it was also my first editing program. I recommend it because it has so many functions and is widely used too.

As you can see I completely changed the look of tutorials13 and most of you may have seen a brand new name!! HTML tips. I thought html tips was more better xD

I'll be busy for the this following month with exams, etc. So I won't be on but I will be accepting tutorial requests so go ahead and request!

Menu style 1

I'd firstly like to credit 16thday because this menu is directly hers. This was a tutorial requested by thetwinkledstar. Click here for live preview.

Dropdown menu music player

Example here. Basically it plays music when you select a song from the drop list.

Paste the code on Notepad.

Find <!-- EDIT STYLE OF DROPDOWN MENU --> to edit the style of the dropdown menu.

Find <!-- MUSIC PLAYLIST HERE --> to add music.

It should be pretty explanatory. You can upload .mp3 files by creating a freewebs account. It's free too.

P.S. It takes time to load.

BRAND NEW THEME!!!!!!!! :-)

I alter a few things from the Adriana Lima theme because people didn’t like the celeb on the top. So making a simple header was more universal I guess :) ENJOY!♥

How to move the ask box

Notice how I've got my ask box above the page instead of redirecting to the default /ask

Well now you can do it too!

Copy the code below onto Notepad.

Edit the part that correspond with the image.

The green is the width, orange is the height but you don't have to edit that and purple is your tumblr user name.

After you've edit the code. Paste it where you want the ask box to appear and you're done!
