We know Hanta and Shouto talk with each other about Magna right? I bet that at some point they start to develop quotes from Manga they both like or find funny, so as a joke, they start this "marcó polo" thing where one starts a quote and the other one continues it. Similar to how Character A starts a vine quote and Character B finishes it, but with manga quoted SeroRoki find funny.

At first the class finds it confusing bc "wtf are they talking about??" but as time goes by, some of them start to grt involved in the joke (specifically Denki, Mina, Deku, Uraraka, Aoyama, Rsu, and Tokoyami are my guess). Especislly the quotes that SeroRoki repeat the most.

At this point it's a common thing for 1-A to just hear Hanta or Shouto say a manga quote and hear various voices finish said quote.

When Shinsou joins, he gets startled the first time it happens (partly because it's Shouto that starts it) bc he didn't expect Shouto to randomly say something WHICH IS THEN followed by unison of voices from everywhere in the common room finish the sentence. After some explanation and time Shinsou also joking the chanting of manga quoted.

At some point they start introducing it to real life events like how we have done with vines in the past.
