fun pjo thing i noticed that i doubt was intentional

when chronos threw up his kids the birth order reversed so hestia despite being the firstborn became the youngest and zeus despite being the lastborn became the oldest which is parralelled in the big 3 kids

nico and bianca being frozen in time make them chronologically (hah) the oldest but bc they didnt age there biologically the youngest - hades is eldest chronologically but is considered the youngest

thalia is technically the oldest but was a tree for years so isnt really older than percy based on years alive + shes a hunter so she will eventually become the youngest (or is currently idk how old nico is compared to her) - reverse of zeus being the lastborn but is considered the oldest

percy is in the middle of nico and thalia both ways - poseidon stayed the middle child

hazel is older than jason bc she was born first but is biologically younger than him - hades and zeus swapped being the eldest and youngest of the big three

Gotta tell you guys something wild in the Chinese fan sphere

So some fanartist drew a “sexy” (read: booby) version of a (cartoon) character who is traditionally very non-sexualised. Fans of the character got mad about it because it’s kind of groundbreaking how that character is written and portrayed and this art totally ignores the entire point of the character. They demanded the art be deleted. In response to that other people said, well what the fanartist did may be distateful but they have every right to draw what they’re into. The two sides fight for days and each starts a harassment campaign and even report their “opponents’” accounts.

So far so typical. But things eventually come to a head and they decide that this will be settled by votes - not through a poll. Through donations to a children’s education charity via each side’s portal. Whoever can get the highest amount of donation wins.

And that is how this charity received over 1 million in donations in three days lol. Oh btw the “freedom of expression” side won by a landslide (960k to 40k)

something i find interesting about the monster trio is that luffy is becoming less human bc of his devil fruit powers meanwhile zoro and sanji are just regular guys. theyre just like that. yeah sanji's got genetic enhancements and zoro might be a demigod or whatever but comparatively speaking theyre just two guys slowly losing their humanity bc of their dedication to their captain
