★ ▌ACTIVITY NOTICE — !!
Morning ( or afternoon / evening / night ), guys! I don’t think I need to point out that I’ve been pretty inactive on my multi lately, but I haven’t given up any of the lovely muses I have here. I’ve probably mentioned it before that I really, really hate my organization on this blog—or lack thereof, rather.
I’ve decided to remake this blog with one really big change. My multimuse is being turned into a hub blog, hosting side blogs for every character instead of trying to host them on a single, main blog. I did this because I can keep all my muses in one place, while giving them their own space that I can’t really dedicate to them on a standard multimuse blog, so I’m still minimizing the stress of having multiple blogs.
Not to mention, you lovely people can follow the muses your interested in and won’t have to block tags for muses you’re not.
This blog will be archive and the new main blog will have the same URL; I’ll post a comprehensive list of muse side blogs later, when I have more of their pages done. Gonna try not to drop any threads, but I might miss a few in the move.
Sorry for the inconvenience and all. If this is a deal breaker for you, I get it. No hard feelings, no big deal, I wish you all the best. If it’s not, hopefully I’ll see you guys on the hub blog?

If your quarrel with his DLC is him getting Too Out Of Character because he got emotional during a time of fucking CRISIS, I dare you to find ONE EXAMPLE of someone THAT young and THAT dedicated to their closest companion(s) who stayed cool as a cucumber during the entirety of a fucking CRISIS.
It’s EXHAUSTING to keep it together for any amount of time at all, ESPECIALLY when you’re young and have WAY less practice than, say, a 40-year old war veteran.
Additonal reminder that prior to leaving Insomnia Ignis had only heard about how the world outside The Wall was going to shit, he hadn’t seen it in person. Then he stepped outside and EVERYTHING WENT TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET VERY FAST AND RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE. He had NO personal experience with this mayhem prior to the trip starting.
Of course there were more and more cracks to his facade as the day wore on with no relief in sight. Of COURSE at the end of the day when it was raining and he had just been given a vision of his OLDEST FUCKING FRIEND BEING SENT LIKE A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER and fucking THEN saw that same friend UNCONSCIOUS next to his DEAD BETROTHED, THEN had think fast and stop Ravus from skewering Noct, Ignis crumbled more. And of FUCKING COURSE HE SNAPPED ENTIRELY WHEN ARDYN WAS ABOUT TO FUCKING KILL NOCT AND HE WAS PINNED ON THE GROUND AND HELPLESS TO STOP IT WHEN HE’D BEEN THROUGH THE WRINGER ALL DAY TRYING TO REACH HIM AND GET HIM TO SAFETY.
I DARE YOU TO TRY AND KEEP CALM THROUGH THAT AMOUNT OF EMOTIONAL TRAUMA AT *ANY* AGE LET ALONE TWENTY *FUCKING* TWO YEARS OLD WHICH IS BASICALLY STILL A BABY WHEN YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT EMOTIONAL MATURITY AND LIFE EXPERIENCE.

I can understand your point, but lemme offer a counterpoint:
MIND-BLOWING.

Ignis only said that after he had been:
Elbowed in the lower spine hard enough to jostle the camera and drop him like a stone
Stomped on the face hard enough to make him black out for an unknown length of time
Probably stomped again before being taken to Zegnautus Keep because he lost consciousness again
Subjected to more visions that appeared to make his head hurt
Kicked so hard he was sent rolling several fucking feet and left dazed
PELTED WITH THE GLAIVES OF KINGS PAST UNTIL HE FELL DOWN GASPING AND THEN PELTED SOME MORE AFTER THAT
DROPPED FROM GREAT A HEIGHT
AND THEN HE PROBABLY HAD ALL OF HIS NON-FLOATING RIBS CRACKED OR STRAIGHT-UP SHATTERED WHEN ARDYN FUCKING STEPPED ON HIS STERNUM
I THINK I’D PROBABLY SNAP AND BLURT OUT “THIS WORLD ISN’T WORTH SAVING WITHOUT THIS PERSON I LOVE IN IT” WITHOUT THINKING TOO. WOULDN’T YOU?
And again, his youth and inexperience plays a role in him snapping; he’s probably never been in that much pain ever in his life. Being subjected to a new extreme of pain is mind-altering.
Also, no shade on Adam Croasdell, he’s amazing, but Japanese VAs know how to get emotion across painfully well in wordless vocalizations and Mamoru Miyano is no exception.

He’s in so much pain he can hardly breathe, and quite frankly I don’t even know how he got up. Adrenaline can only help so much.
If there’s one way the Alternate Verse is worse than the main one, in my humble opinion, it’s that Ignis suffers one thousand times worse in the name of saving his oldest friend’s life from a stupid ancient prophecy.
So yeah, no, I think he’s still pretty in character and true to real life with what he said there.
Noct is Ignis’s lifelong friend, who is as close as a family to him, a part of his life and obviously he cares deeply for him. So, regardless of age, when one 1. is being shown a vision of the ending of that friend’s life 2. almost lost that friend right in front of his eyes, almost being stabbed and he was helpless I think the fact of losing that person would become so real that anyone with the right or wrong mind, would snap and actually say and do what he did. In summary, “fuck the world, I am not going to let him die”
