12/4/14  "It is our duty to fight for our freedom!" Today in Minneapolis we began by standing in solidarity with the fast food workers who were striking. We then began our action in which we shut down I-35 and marched 3.4 miles to our City Hall and demanded to talk to city council members about our concerns within our community.  The organizers of today’s event were all black college students from the area. It was amazing to be out there with them and all of the other 200+ people.  This revolution goes on and on.

i've been receiving some gross messages & as we all know tumblr doesn't do a damn thing to block disgusting people from doing harmful/rude things on tumblr, so this is really just what i need to do right now.

this was the main reason that i moved my url before but these are different & worse & i really don't have the mental energy to deal with it.

My friend has kindly reminded us that we should not call her Igloo Australia, because Igloo is a very important word and whatnot to the Inuit. And of course Indigenous people, especially Inuit people, are consistently erased, and we should honor that fact. She has proposed Mayo Australia or Icy Australia and I think we should use those. I think we can call her 22398832 million things that don’t dehumanizes or erase Indigenous people.
