Yue Qingyuan: summer heat & treat troubles
As previously promised, I deliver you pregnant YQY in a swimsuit. I did think I'd just make one of my monochrome things, but this one got away from me. ( Also VOTE for him in the poll! -> X I want him to win so bad ; n ;) I do realise chinese culture does not encourage cold food/drinks/baths, but this one we blame on Airplane (thank you sacrificial lamb): balance of qi, blah blah, YQY's fucked up cultivation etc.
Some notes: It's summer and its' terrible: YQY keeps overheating. He gets put on leave and now only gets to splash around in a kiddy pool :)(let's imagine an au where system has a shop and either SY or SJ gets stuff from there, could be shen twins, could be something else). The kiddy pool is held together by thoughts & prayers some real heavy duty talismans (thanks unnamed peak lord). They keep peeling off the plastic.
It's so hot YQY gets waxed (it looks like someone killed a shorthaired beast in the changing room): it does not help. SJ will be upset about this when he gets home. Wisely YQY does not cut his hair. He is also permanently covered in every type of good luck charm available to man and demon and the snack box is filled regularly (his tits also keep filling out due to the snacks).

Major Update Announcement for the QiJiu DesktopPet!
It has been a month since our last release on May 20th. During this time, I have been grinding away in absolute seclusion to bring you a massive feature update!
This update not only maxes out the sense of companionship from Qi-ge and Xiao Jiu, but also introduces a ton of mind-blowing tech that truly brings these desktop pets to life—they can even become your assistants for work and study!
Let’s take a look at the incredible highlights coming in this major update, releasing on July 9th (QiJiu Day!):
🌤️ Highlight 1: Cross-Dimensional Time & Space Sync (Real-Time Weather & Routine System)
Real-World Weather Sync: The desktop pets can now sense the actual weather in your city! When it rains or snows, you'll see pattering raindrops and swirling snowflakes falling around Qi-ge and Xiao Jiu (featuring beautiful, high-performance weather particle effects!). Under different conditions like sunny or cloudy days, they will also trigger exclusive, weather-specific idle dialogue to interact with you!
Routine & Day/Night System: Qi-ge and Xiao Jiu now have their own biological clocks. They have exclusive idle dialogues for early morning, dusk, and late at night. Most importantly—they will walk less and obediently go to sleep late at night!
🍅 Highlight 2: Cang Qiong Seclusion (Pomodoro Timer) Need to focus on work or study? Turn on the brand-new "Cang Qiong Seclusion mode! After setting your focus timer, your pets will enter a state of secluded seclusion, transforming into your exclusive time management masters. Once the focus session is complete, they will share encouraging words to celebrate your massive boost in cultivation!
🪟 Highlight 3: Wall-Breaking “Realm Awareness" They will no longer just stroll along the very bottom of your screen! Now, they can sense the edges of your currently active windows as well as the bottom taskbar. While you are working or studying, they might wander over and sit obediently right on top of your window to keep you company!
💼 Highlight 4: Thoughtful Assistants for Workers & Students
Breaker Reminder: Been sitting too long? Every once in a while, the two of them will teleport to the center of your screen to remind you to get up and stretch your muscles.
Do-Not-Disturb for Meetings: Afraid of dying of embarrassment when screen sharing during a meeting? We've added smart meeting detection! When a meeting application is detected, the desktop pets will automatically hide themselves, and automatically reappear once the meeting ends (currently mainly supporting Microsoft Teams). Don't ask me how this feature came to be orz.
❤️ Highlight 5: Insane Polish on Immersion & Interactive Details
Natural Affection Decay: The affection meter will now slowly drop over time. You need to interact and feed them more every day to maintain your bond!
Resting Mechanic Upgrade: Right-clicking to "Rest" now not only restores Qi but also soothes a low mood.
This super feature update also includes dozens of optimizations and bug fixes, comprehensively improving multi-monitor adaptation and stability.
Aside from the rich features mentioned above, finally, we have one ultimate special move just for QiJiu fans...
Alongside the comprehensive feature evolution, we've specially invited two artists to lend their brushes! On the upcoming July 9th (QiJiu Day), the desktop pets will launch with 2 sets of incredibly adorable new skins!
