Heeeeeey……..
I know it’s been forever and I’m sorry!!! I’ve been in a bit of a writing slump the last few months, but boy, getting back into this chapter drop-kicked me out of it. I JUST LOVE SUPERCORP, DUDE, OH MY GOD
It’s been a while since Kara thought about what life was like before Lena, but as she comes back to herself and the pleasure seems to ping back and forth between them it occurs to her that everything before they met seems like a distant memory, now. Working for Cat instead of Lena seems like an eon ago. She can barely remember Mon-El’s face anymore.
Lena has filled every crack and crevice of Kara’s life, and Kara doesn’t want to ever be without her again.
Kara shifts, and immediately Lena’s legs tighten around her, keeping her inside. As if Lena can hear her thoughts. Or, at least, she feels the same.
“Stay in me,” Lena murmurs.
It almost slips out of Kara, then. The words she’s been trying to find, that have danced around the tip of her tongue, are under her feet now. She’s tripping over them.
I love you.
Kara buries her face in Lena’s perfumed neck, and chokes it back.
Holy crap.

Kara’s muscular back appreciation post
Every time I see this gif, my first reaction is always “ooh! Ballet au!”
….like maybe Kara is the star of the NC Ballet, and she’s gained a lot of notoriety because she’s become an unofficial advocate of health and strength in the sport rather than reinforcing the hyper-thin stereotype that usually characterizes the dance world. Plus she’s super active on youtube/ig sharing nutrition tips and lifting sessions– and occasionally she’ll post goofy videos of her dancing men’s roles and doing the lifts with the men in the female role (though having fun, they take it seriously, ie the dudes don’t flutter their eyelashes and pretend to fawn– what ladies do is HARD).
Whereas Lena DOES fit the dancer stereotype– to a T. In the Metropolis National Ballet Company, she was the youngest to become principal dancer, and has won all sorts of accolades and awards… until an injury nearly ends her career. Moving to National City is supposed to be her comeback story.
But when she gets there, while Lena seems hesitant, health guru Kara doesn’t see the injury. She keeps it to herself, and keeps an eye on Lena. One night, months later, Kara catches Lena practicing long after official rehearsal has ended. From the wings, Kara’s suspicions are confirmed– Lena is in peak condition. She’s… Kara is gobsmacked by how good she is.
When Kara confronts Lena, the truth comes out: she didn’t leave Metropolis because of an injury. She’d received threatening notes, and her apartment had been trashed multiple times. No one took her fears seriously, so she had to figure out a plan B. She’d hoped the news of her injury would lessen her stalker’s obsession, and that the distance would prevent them from following.
But for some inexplicable reason, she swears Kara to secrecy. It doesn’t make sense to Kara, but she agrees– so long as Lena agrees to work and train with her after hours. Lena doesn’t need much convincing. They work on solos, sure, but more often they practice the partner dances. And they get good.
So good that Cat makes the executive decision to cast them as the star couple for NCB’s next show.
Lena is vehemently AGAINST the idea. At first Kara is hurt, but then she sees the fear and realizes it has nothing to do with her and everything to do with that thing she’s not allowed to mention. Lena can’t mention either, and while Cat is willing to recast Lena’s role, Lena is too attached to Kara to allow that. So they become the first female-female leads of Swan Princess.
The industry goes NUTS. The stuffy theatergoers put their nose up, the young lesbians lose their minds with excitement, and everyone in between seems to have their own opinion. By the time opening night rolls around, the entire run is sold out.
Opening night is a hit. Everyone loves it, not a single thing goes wrong, and Lena and Kara’s chemistry is off the charts. After the reception, Lena invites Kara back to her place. Their a little tipsy and all giggles– until Lena’s front door unlocks to a sea of chaos. Furniture overturned, decorations smashed, appliances damaged beyond use. The violence of it makes Kara’s blood run cold, and she reaches for Lena instinctively.
But Lena has gone eerily still, as she realizes that her fears have been made real, and the threat has followed her from Metropolis. And now Kara is caught in the middle.
As they wait for the cops, Lena starts to shake, and murmurs that the police won’t be any help. “He’ll have an alibi,” she says.
“From whom?”
Lena grips Kara’s hand tightly. “My mother.”
Her aggressor, you see, is her brother.
Knowing that trans women of color started the movement in the united states and were literally immediately erased and excluded from what they started is the most deeply jading knowledge.
It is the original sin of the so-called queer community and it damns it from the cradle.

Without Stonewall, without the efforts of Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, the LGBTQ Community wouldn’t be where it is today. Don’t forget the roots, don’t forget the catalyst.
and then TERFs wanna be like, “hmm well the LGBT community existed before Stonewall!”
but like…Becky, of course LGBTQ+ people existed before Stonewall. We’ve all existed since the beginning of time. But the movement got a shock to its senses, a jump-start, a rocket-into-space when that glass shattered via Marsha P. Johnson, and when Sylvia Rivera was up on-stage protesting guess who was on the sidelines heckling her?
The same fuckers who won’t ever reblog or acknowledge this
My apologies to the original poster as I photo captured this post to add to the thread-I reposted this last year for pride and expect to repost it every year I have left-it’s our history people.
Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.
Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never “pay it no mind”.

Supercorp. Kara Danvers x Lena Luthor. Alex Danvers.
Word count: 2.8k
Lena doesn't know how to explain it. One day she’s being interviewed by Clark Kent and his cousin, and the next she’s Kara Danvers’ best friend.
It starts like these things usually do: harmless, warm. Shaped like something simple and fun. Coffee dates, movie nights, the occasional world-saving detour. Lena tells herself it’s just friendship. Tells herself she doesn’t notice the way Kara lights up when she laughs, or how often she reaches for Lena’s hand without thinking.
And then, it stops being harmless on a Tuesday.
Or maybe it had started the first time Kara smiled at her like that—wide and unguarded, the light catching on her cheekbones like the sun itself is paying attention. Maybe it had started long before that, when Lena first realized she wanted to be seen. Really seen. And somehow, impossibly, Kara always did.
They’re at game night. Alex is complaining about losing. Winn is pretending not to cheat. There’s laughter in the air, soft and golden, curling around the windows and cushions like smoke.
Lena’s half-listening, caught somewhere between the burn of bourbon in her glass and the curve of Kara’s mouth as she teases Alex.
She almost doesn't notice when Kara leans in, low and fond and a little breathless, and says under her breath, like it’s just for her:
“Zrhureiao.”
Kryptonese.
It lands like a meteor in Lena’s chest.
