Summary: Unlike practically every other cadet at the Galaxy Garrison, Hunk didn’t want to leave Earth.
Heck, he hadn’t even wanted to leave Samoa to attend the Galaxy Garrison in the first place, let alone leave the whole planet entirely.
So of course, when Matt Holt breaks his arm shortly before the Kerberos mission, it was him of all people who was selected to replace him.
He only had himself to blame. If he’d been listening to the instructors before he solved the supposedly “unsolvable” engineering issue, he’d never have done it, and they never would have looked at him.

This is my Piece for the @hunkbigbang! It was such a fun fic to work on and I love the art that @ladymac111-draws did for Chapters 4 and 8, which you can see here. I also had @madame-kiksters as a Beta and they did a phenomenal job in helping me correct the wording within my fic. They were both such darlings to work with and kept me very motivated during this journey. I hope you all enjoy my fic! Updates will be once every two days until all 11 chapters are posted!

After doing a poll from participants on our discord, we have decided to push back posting two weeks and the official schedule now reflects that, end date is now July 14th! If you need an extension past that point please email us!

Because claims ran long, we decided to give responders more time to create content! Therefore we have added the communications check on the 22nd, pushed back the next checkin to the 6th of June, and pushed the deadline to the 30th of June! This info is all now up to date on our schedule page!
