Hunter Clarington. Dalton Academy's newest, and best, Warblers captain. Ohio native but I have just returned to the old stomping ground from Colorado Springs. Seventeen years old and albeit sad, best friends with one Sebastian Smythe. You can be such a dick sometimes. I love it. I’m the only one who’s never really gone out of his way to please you, honestly. As for you not being a slut, that’s debatable. I’m a slut by nature. What I’m saying is that there’s no way you became captain without sleeping with somebody important.
Of course, I’m somebody important.
Correction, I am a dick. I take pride in it. Of course you do, you love your abundances of dick, don’t you? That could easily change, don’t doubt that I can get you to do what I want. I am not a slut, you cocksucker. OF course you are, we all knew that. I didn’t actually, I got the spot for just being a natural born leader and leading my military academy to a regionals victory with presidential honors.
I’m not sleeping with you, Smythe. In your dreams? Maybe, but in reality? No.
Ahh, so the truth comes out. He missed me! Wow, what an honor.
I guess we could wreak havoc together, but I have to warn you that my messes are a lot… messier in person. Sure. You just naturally seem to have a way about you that makes people give you everything you want. It has nothing to do with the fact that you’re kind of a slut?
I have no further commentary on that subject, Smythe.
I figured. You’ve always been a hot mess without me. We all know that you need me to function, the first step is always acceptance. I do, that and I’m just a stubborn asshole along with being naturally fantastic that everyone just wants to please me. I am not a slut. Are we talking about me or you here? Since when have I been the slut of this friendship? Name one time I was the slut.
I don’t grovel, dear. As for being face to face instead of in front of a computer screen, it’s definitely a lot more refreshing. I mean, we’ve stayed in contact all of these years and now we’re finally going to the same school again. I did wreak a lot of havoc last year and you probably are the best person to clean up that mess, not gonna lie, but I highly doubt the school knows anything about your ability to get your way by sleeping with your superiors.
Are you sure about that? I do have to agree with you on that, I maybe even, get ready for it, missed you a tiny bit. Only slightly. I’d like to think we can wreck havoc together this time around, we are partners in crime after all. I can most definitely clean up your messes, I’ve been doing it for probably over ten years by now, even when I was states apart. My ability to get my way by sleeping with my superiors? I have no earthly what you may be referring to by that one, Bas. I just naturally always seem to get my way.
Well, well, well. Look who decided to show his face around here again? Who would’ve known that Hunter Clarington would be back in Westerville once again? Just so you know, though, the only reason you’re captain is because we’re good friends. ;)
You can start kissing the ground I walk upon, Smythe, it’s okay. We all know you cried tears of joy as soon as I appeared back into your life, face to face instead of through a computer screen. Is that so? It’s not because you wrecked total havoc last year and they needed someone to clean your mess up along with keep you in line? They obviously just knew me of all people could be the one do that the best.
Who knew Westerville would have still been as boring as ever? It oddly enough hasn’t changed much since my departure five years ago. Well, I’m back now, not only on scholarship at Dalton but my father got offered a better position in the Navy here back in our lovely hometown, and the Warblers have a new captain. Here’s to Westerville being spectacular once again with Hunter Clarington back in its midst. You’re welcome, Ohio.
